"I believe in a Spinoza's God who reveals himself in the harmony of all that exists, but not in a God who concerns himself with the fate and actions of human beings."
--Albert Einstein, 1929
former governor of a state. former journalism major. responding to 'what newspapers do you read' should have been beyond easyI never knew anyone whose job performance was based on what newspapers they read. She was governor of a state, had 5 kids (one special needs), and seemed to have a pretty active life. I know when my kids were young I barely had time to take a shower, forget sit with a cup of coffee and read the newspaper. That didn't mean I wasn't in tune with what was going on in the world, and it certainly didn't make me stupid.
I agree she is not stupid, but she is remarkably under-educated and intellectually lazy, which makes her ignorant, which is often confused with being stupid.
No matter how cynical I become toward politicians, it's never enough.
