My sister was addicted to hard drugs in her teens, watching her live with the physical consequences while raising her daughters makes me a little slower to hate someone for it.

Rush monetizes you caring that he's a hypocrite. That is a the product he sells: you caring either way. He's like a weapons dealer who sells to both sides making money hand over fist both ways.

His children's books make money because their very existence is controversial even-though, or especially because, the books themselves are politically clean. Us caring about who wrote the book instead of what's in the book is the product Rush Limbaugh sells.

If it weren't for people like you bitching about Rush I may not have bought that audio-book today since I'm not into children's books. But I wanted to see what everyone cares so much about and so knowing the whole scheme I went and bought it and damn it's just a good clean book.

The only way to win is not to play, if winning is your goal. Some of us are just along for the ride.

Limbaugh is effective, kicks liberal ass at everything he does, is rich and has millions of fans. That's what bugs you, because you can't put a single individual on the radio and make it work.

Limbaugh does very well with a medium from the Thirties and ideas from the Gilded Age appealing to people who seem to have a hard time accepting the present.
