Yes, when you have the narrator dressed in clothes (with his horse) referenced from another historical time period, it is confusing to children that may not be knowledgable enough to know that the two times periods are very distinct.

Children don't have the same kind of sophistication that adults do. Things should not be marketed to be nonfiction unless it IS nonfiction. That means it needs to be referenced which his book is not. As I already stated, if he wants his book to be a part of fiction there is no problem.

There's nothing wrong with a historically themed children's book, or do you prefer children remain ignorant?

As I've said, you should read it and speak from an informed position rather than speaking from a disinformed position.

I have credits on Audible. I'll download the book and report back, though I already know if I like the book liberals will just "of course you do you're a brainwashed Conservative" but if I don't like the book liberals will hold me up as their golden calf.

Narrow minded twits look for labels to slap on everybody to make their little lives so much easier - it is the path that requires little intelligence.

It allows them to pick responses from a hit list of phrases, again the result of poor intelligence, or laziness.

I have yet to meet someone whose belief structure perfectly fit any simple label or ideology.

I'm bout an hour into the audio-book. The first 20min were slow but then the story picks up. There's no politics in the book, just history. I was pleased to hear that Rush himself reads it.

Given that the whole idea here is communication, you'd think that we could all just accept Merriam-Webster or OED or whatever and not make up our own definitions. Gets so, sometimes, that when you read certain posts you have to guess what the writer thinks a word means before you can get to what he's trying to say.
