Personally, I'd rather have an unbiased review, but that'd be impossible to come by when it comes to anything dealing with that hate monger.
Your open minded, unbiased, objective opinion is noted. (cough) Thank you for sharing.

    What does, "hid", mean?

I browsed through Rush Revere and the Brave Pilgrims. It was set up at B&N. It's a cute idea using time travel and a talking horse to interest kids in history. I had my 8 year old grandson in mind. The recommended age was 9-12. I know he wouldn't have any trouble reading it as he just finished the series Diary of a Wimpy Kid which I believe is for ages 9-14? And he does have an interest in history.

The Chicago Tribune wrote a lovely review on the book back in November 2013

Review: 'Rush Revere and the Brave Pilgrims' by Rush Limbaugh - Chicago Tribune

I just checked the Best Seller list at the NYT and the Pilgrim book is now #4. Not real sure when it was released but I remember someone saying it was #1 back in October of last year. ? The second one in the series is now #1.

If that's true (and not doubting you) then I might be guilty as charged because I grew up believing government must never be trusted. My father had a very responsible position, a sea captain, and he taught me that government is never on the side of the people.

    Wrong.
I'm as liberal as all get-out and I believe government shouldn't involve itself in business. The exception is when a whole industry shows it can't be trusted to behave responsibly- then they get regulated like children get rules. The insurance industry in the US abused the free market so blatantly that they needed to be slapped and harnessed. Serves them right.
