You either don't understand the truth behind this, or you are being intellectually dishonest.

The rest, that's a level deeper into it than I was taught in Canada.

No, he's a former drug addict who has been married four times.

    He's a college dropout.

He has been criticized for inaccuracies in reporting, and distorting facts to serve his own political biases.

You know.... he is EXACTLY the kind of guy that I want my son to be when he grows up..... NOT.

Conservatives have always been agents of the government and protectors of big corporate interests when liberals were fighting for individual liberties.
I dont think you understand the difference between classical liberalism and modern "liberalism" which is really just another name progressives are ruining.

I don't care who tries to hijack the word. Like I said elsewhere, I've been liberal all my life and come from a long line of liberals and I don't need anyone to tell me what I believe.
I keep hearing all this crap about big government and taxation and gun control and all I can say is those people don't know what liberal means, on either side of the issue. I believe that government is never to be trusted, that laws and taxes are easy so we have way too much of both, that government will always follow the money and that conservatives stand for government control and mega-corporations and obedience to authority. That's what makes me a liberal- I know who hasn't got my interests at heart.
Looks to me like some who call themselves conservative don't know what that word means. They're liberal on a lot of issues, but they've convinced themselves that the word liberal means just about the opposite of what it really does.
