Just because somebody stops and stares at a train wreck, doesn't make them like the train wreck. They are just shocked, appalled maybe -- definitely glad it's not them. And sorry for the people involved in the train wreck.

Yeah, you really don't. Except that their actions are the exact opposite.

So the answer is no. Kewl, thanks for sharing your... opinion.
Climate, changes. It takes a particularly uneducated population to buy into the idea that it's their fault climate is changing and further political solutions can fix it.

    Dimes or clues?
Those guys who fostered the American Revolution were liberals, maybe the first liberals. The first to take liberalism to the streets, anyway- they rebelled against royalty and aristocracy and monopoly economics and over-taxation and a bunch of other stuff that conservatives (Tories) supported. They inspired liberal rebellions in Europe while conservatives (in Canada they were called United Empire Loyalists) received their land grants in Ontario and Quebec and Nova Scotia.
But hey, you conservatives wanna be more like the Founders, it's easy. Just adjust a couple of word definitions, revise history a little and voila! instant patriots.

Depends. Conservatives were loyalists, and American separatists could also be conservatives in that they wanted to move away from the notion that it was a revolution, that America needed an informal aristocracy, and that reason had not triumphed over revelation (among other things).
