I asked if you if you think people with access to sensitive information and operations should be held under close scrutiny or not.
I don't care much Obama's promise: it was either just something he said to drum up votes from the dumb among us, or it was something he honestly thought but they realized was a dumb idea. Either way, he didn't do it, and that's good.
Sure, they can be held under close scrutiny, but in a democracy as we like to believe and project that we are, one must have an avenue to call attention to crimes against our laws and constitution. I can assure you of one thing, it is imposed upon me as a business owner, working with/for the federal government, that I inform, in writing my employees that if they observe, or are themselves asked to engage in activity that is illegal, that they are obliged to report it, and I am required to provide them with the contact people and their numbers. Whistle blower protection.
As to the other, we just disagree.
