One time my wife teased she wanted to play cowboys and Indians, and she'd be the captured white woman. I asked her how would that be something new or different? She agreed that I had a good point. :2razz:

It would be a different matter if he had keep harassing and teasing the other kid that way in a bullying way and wouldn't stop, but then that wouldn't be about a finger-gun. It would just be about harassment.

Why shouldn't children be terrified of guns? I'd rather have them terrified of guns, than to play with them like they weren't real.

that is a stupid dichotomy. Kids who are raised to responsibly use guns are the ones least likely to have problems with guns. those kids are neither terrified of guns (as you are apparently) nor do they play with them (like kids who don't understand how guns work).

Its sad to note that PC has replaced common sense in our nation's schools. I'm planning to home school my child once he comes of age.
