You are trying to spin out of your own ignorance on the subject with a typical CON game.

    Time to grow up.
Im not spinning out of anything. And the only ignorance being shown in this thread is from you and the OP. Him criticizing public unions does not make him a hypocrite for joining a private sector union as the OP and now you are trying to say. FWIW you might address me and stop the childish "CON" references. You debate like a high school freshman.

Well freshman puts me a few rungs up over most CONs...

AGAIN you asked if someone had any proof he ever criticized UNIONS, no reference to what type until you had to admit he had in fact supported gutting a UNION...

Fact is CONs don't make a hill of beans distinction between public or private sector unions- until they have no other way out.

Nice try though, and a plumber's helper doesn't have to join a Union. Again you offer NO proof this loser was ever in a Union before now- just ASS-u-me he did.

But you also ASS-u-med he never spoke ill of ANY Union before...

Maybe you will answer this since the OP wont.
What a cop out! No one is forced to join a union. What's stopping him from starting his own business? Where is that personal responsibility mantra when you need it

OK, I am going to make one last attempt here with you then I am going to move on. The OP mocked him for joining a union. I asked if he had ever criticized the union. The answer to that is apparently no. That was my point and no one has yet refuted it. End of story. Put up or shut up.

How is that a cop out? Do you even understand the trade unions and how they work? What does personal responsibility have to do with anything? You are just throwing out disjointed leftist boilerplate.

I understand perfectly well that a person can start their own trade business. Any whining that someone in a trade is forced to join is union isn't pulling himself up by his bootstraps

And I'll try one more time to show you what you said... not 'this union', not 'private sector unions' but just plain oh, no hyphenated crap Unions.

See you CONs make no distinction between what type of union- until it is your only wiggle room to try and spin out of your ill informed comments.

Your double standard comes from demanding proof he ever was against unions but showing ZERO proof he ever was in a union. He does say he was in the AF as a plumber, does say he he is happy to be on a bailed out company's Union teat. And like most CONs he can peel the onion to justify his actions.

Oh and he hasn't been a plumber all his life, he held some sort of job in Global Communications- though it might have been to plunger the toilets and clean the bathrooms...

Sorry, but working--in a trade union or otherwise--IS pulling oneself up by the bootstraps so your post is nonsense.

It would be nice if some liberal would step forward and say something of substance. So far, you are all shooting blanks.

Hey, I never said working in a trade union is not pulling yourself up by one's bootstrap. I said whining about being forced to do it is. Big difference between manhood and victim hood.

Context is key. I know what I said and I said it in the context of the OP which ridiculed him for joining a union. If he had ridiculed plumbers unions in the past he would be pretty open to the charge of hypocrisy now. But if his criticism were of public unions which even union crusaders like FDR were against, then there is no hypocrisy. If you cant see this then you cant see it. But it cant be any more clear.
