Ohio isn't a right to work state either.
Every normal man must be tempted at times to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin to slit throats. It is inaccurate to say that I hate everything. I am strongly in favor of common sense, common honesty, and common decency. This makes me forever ineligible for public office. H.L Mencken

In the end, why does anybody still care enough about this loser to attack or defend him? Seriously? He was a nobody who became a political pawn and it turns out he's a racist (of course, it's not racist unless you're a libbo. I forgot). I knew McCain's campaign was doomed when they brought Sam the not actually a plumber on the bus and the campaign spokesman said "America needs his wisdom."
A loser? A nobody? He's a working man who, like all Americans, has a right to his opinions

You are a 'winner', are you?

Call me when Joe the Democrat Plumber is around. We'll see what you say then.

    Seems a little hateful, there.
Wurzelbacher just asked a hypothetical question. And as a result had others manipulating his image, from McCain to government employees who leaked confidential information.

If he wants to work for an Italian corporation, let him.

Anyone who lives in a non-"right to work" state has the right to work for any individual or business that has not voluntary signed an agreement w/a union.

The fact that palin/limbaugh, etc. told their flock otherwise is irrelevant.

That's true but if you want the good and consistent jobs you're going to need to be union if you're in any of the trades.

Do you believe I would call a plumber of any political stripe 'a loser; or a'a nobody'. So far I have only seen the Democrats, the champion of the working man, say that sort of thing.

Not hate. He was manipulated? Yes. After he falsely represented his situation. Then he willingly hopped on the poster boy train.

Hate? No. Tired of being conned? More likely.

As for his hazing by fellow union members? If it is a couple crass comments....Welcome to life. Try middle school - you will get the same. If he is faced with a hostile work environment, that is entirely another issue.

But like any employee that is the subject of rude comments, do you report, when do you report, and when do you brush it off.
