Perhaps I got off on a tangent. I do that every so often. It is one of the benefits of being an old crusty retired Master Sergeant. People do learn, now if only our politicians could.
This Reform Party member thinks it is high past time that we start electing Americans to congress and the presidency who put America first and their political party further down the line. But for way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.

The ME unrest gives the Former Soviet Union something they werent able to take by force...an opportunity for a strong foothold in the ME.

Although, in my defense it was raining and there was thunder cracking and I was a bit tone deaf from all the gun fire and it was A Shau. Just sayin.

Yep. And so the question is, has this been by design, or just two consecutive incompetent administrations.

Putin is playing chess, Obama is playing checkers. I dont think either of them are exactly 'great' leaders...but Putin is exploiting opportunities created by the stupidity of this administration.

Ok sure, but the destabilisation of the Region preceded this administration, though it certainly continues.

It didnt just 'continue'...this administration was dumping gasoline and old newspaper on it and fanning the flames.

The military was good for me, but it is not for everyone. Welcome home.
