    Your own links says:

And the underlying point is that Christie's aides made the possibility of getting more aid for Hoboken contingent on the mayor supporting a development project that Christie favored.
With each new revelation, you move the goalposts. If you'd read the first link I offered, it clearly says that a significant balance remains to be distributed as funds become available. That would be at the end, like, down at the bottom of the link you didn't read. It doesn't matter when the story "broke" because the "story" lacks any substance. So now the assertion that Hoboken only received a couple of hundred thousand dollars has been abandoned in favor of yeah, they got a whole lot more money, but it wasn't the right kind of money" type of thing. In short, Christie's failure to drop pallets of cash into the streets of Hoboken for walking around money is cause for concern on the left, cause we know he did that very thing for municipalities that supported his re-election effort. You guys are a hoot.

"Accessed: 01/19/2014" does not mean given out on that date. That means the information was pulled from the treasury on that date. Jeez.

The mayor was a moron thinking that Hoboken should receive 1/3 of the entire FEMA-alocated Hazard Mitigation grant funds for all of New Jersey. Furthermore, the article states that three counties requested 6 billion from the Hazard Mitigation Fund, which only had 300 million available.

Its typical of anyone looking for funding: Ask for the mountain when you need a boulder.

Your post is just more BS. You have to make up things I never said in order to have an argument

The fact is that Hoboken was awarded about $300K out of the $300million that was allotted to the state. The fact that other entities, such as FEMO and insurance companies, spent money there has nothing whatsoever to do with the issue of how Christie allocated the money that he had control over.

The issue is not who else gave Hoboken money, or whether Christie dropped "pallets of cash". Those are just lies you've posted to cover up that you still can't refute the claim that out $300 million that Christie controlled, Hoboken got about 0.1% of it even though it was one of the hardest hit communities.

Is there a mitigation strategy for Hoboken to prevent or lessen infrastructure damage from flooding? Since it doesn't matter how hard Hoboken was hit, you said it earlier, the Mitigation fund has nothing to do with Sandy rebuilding. Its about risk mitigation.

If Hoboken was limited in the mitigation strategy, you need to prove that other mitigation projects received priority when they shouldn't have.

I am from NJ and I can't either. I do know that the delays in getting financial help to the people has taken a long time and is still on going. As for his not knowing about the lane closures.
I don't see how that was possible. It was 4 days of traffic jams. But right now it is a wait and see what transpires as testimony will commence.

The facts are in the links I provided. They speak for themselves.
