Iran's Foreign Minister Zarif lays a wreath at the grave of assassinated Hezbollah military commander Moughniyeh in the suburbs of Beirut

Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif (R) lays a wreath at the grave of assassinated Hezbollah military commander Imad Moughniyeh in the southern suburbs of Beirut, during his visit to Lebanon, January 13, 2014.

"So?" you might ask, "What's the big deal"?

Well, Imad Moughniyeh is this guy -

and if that picture kind of rings a bell but not exactly it's because he's the guy that did this back in 1983

You mean like the Munich agreement where Neville Chamberlain wet his pants appeasing Hitler?

That sure worked out well, didn't it?

Hey, don't get me wrong...we've been in that boat before. Hell, WE were the ones sending arms to Iran in the mid 80's.

It didn't work then and it's a bad idea now. Why these damned fools can't or won't pay attention to history I'll never know.

I was talking about deals with people like the South African apartheit regime or the Soviets or communist China. Not the ones which went sour.

I just believe that there is no reason to not be hopefull, a peacefull Iran that is not threatening the world always be an improvement, no matter who rules it.
