    Hey, that's pretty cool.

Of course they can. However as it is right now if they are spying on an American and get caught they're legally okay. However, if they're spying on Canadians and get caught, that's not legal and an international incident. Considering Canada is our number 2 top supplier of oil, that could be a big deal. There are plenty of other buyers in the world.

Except the fourth amendment makes that very much not ok.

There is no need for Canada to sell anything. Silicon Valley is fleeing.

I posted a link to Clinton's comments. I didn't mistake anyone for anyone else. Clinton was a Senator in a neighbouring State to Canada - far more relevant, in my view.

All I'm saying is, is it not clear that our government could give two ****s about the laws of other nations? I mean, I thought it was clear...but I guess it's possible others don't.
Your government, particularly your current President, clearly has no respect for American law and perhaps not other nations' laws, however, unless Obama is planning an invasion someday soon, Canadian law still dictates what happens within our own borders.

You made it seem like she was the only person to make that link.
No men are anywhere, and Im allowed to go in, because Im the owner of the pageant and therefore Im inspecting it, Trump said... Is everyone OK? You know, theyre standing there with no clothes. Is everybody OK? And you see these incredible looking women, and so I sort of get away with things like that.

I have to disagree. While they may not be safe anywhere as it stands, at least they can't be forced to co-operate. American companies get court ordered to let the NSA tap into their infrastructure and get direct access to their data. If they were in Canada, for instance, the NSA wouldn't necessarily have a direct tap onto their servers, but rather would have to monitor things going in and out, which would make it a lot harder on them.

Either way, companies need to start packing up and moving out, because that's the only thing that's going to get anyone's attention. Our government has made it quite clear they could give a **** less what the citizenry wants.
