Kindle Führer: “Mein Kampf” Tops Amazon Charts

Sure, but Reagan got to be CIC over ALL the troops!

Ronald Reagan was never a corporal but was a commissioned officer in the U.S. Cavalry before WW ll.

Wait at least 100 years before you use liberal revisionists history. You wont look so historically incorrect.

Reagan did start out in the calvary but he transferred to the Army Air Force in 1942.

100 years from now we'll look back at all of the fussing and fighting that's going on now and laugh our asses off.

If we live that long.

I say give Ronald Reagan the credit he earned. He served in uniform before most of the "Greatest Generation" served.

I will agree that Ronald Reagan was a true American patriot who had a lot to do with the fact that the USA and the West won the Cold War.

Anyone who doubts that needs to read a little history.

But I didn't speak to Reagan's military rank before WW2??

You're going to be a very old man then Shrub! :)

You also heard the scuttlebutt that Obama will be ordering the U.S. military to adopt the goose step
.

I would support that idea.

Imagine a hundred thousand U.S. troops on parade, goose-stepping down Pennsylvania Avenue, followed by trucks carrying nuclear-tipped missiles.

That would strike fear in the hearts of our enemies, eh?

Stop it with the Reagan worship. The point was only that one doesn't have to have served in the armed forces to qualify to be CIC. At least Hitler actually served.

I plan on being here and doing whatever I have to do.

And kicking any young SOB who gets in my way down the road.

Love it! You go man.

I own 3 different copies of it. Even stays on my night table. Its my bible.

The book is free online. Who would pay for it?

“Mein Kampf” is free.

If you can't find it, I have it. The nut who wrote it was inspired by his own work, he killed himself.

This kind of Nazi crap (and other extremist nonsense) always comes up when economies go bad.

And with western/Japanese economies barely growing despite massive government/central bank stimuli, world economies are stagnating which causes stupid/sick/desperate people to turn to extremism in politics.

Just wait until the central banks run out of bullets to shoot and economies start to collapse...this hate-based, isolationistic, blame-game politics will really take off (relatively speaking), imo.

And anyone that doubts it could happen in America, just remember the anti-terrorist paranoia that gripped her after 9/11 (some being justified but most not).

Fake Controversy Alert: Hitler

A juicy story broke last week, the kind that makes savvy sub-editors salivate over potential Twitter-bait headlines.

It had been discovered that Hitler’s pre-war memoir Mein Kampf was a digital bestseller, leading to a global bout of media hand-wringing and pontificating. One excitable commentator even suggested it was a sign the second Holocaust was imminent.

The only problem with this story is that it’s not true. At all.

So the rabid reicht is creaming itself over nothing? No wonder liberals laugh at them.

It sells well to make scary or provocative or apocaliptic headlines. That's why tabloids are the only papers making money really...

directly from the article you are commenting on<<<Huge blogs and websites like Gizmodo, Huffington Post, Gawker, Slate, and Salon reported on this phenomenon. Major newspapers also covered the story: the Guardian, New York Daily News, the Daily Mail, and the Los Angeles Times. Television networks got in on the act too, like ABC News and Fox, before the story spread internationally with media outlets picking up the story in Portugal, France, India, and Russia.>>>

Hardly the bastions of the right ...

Also the above article doesn't really address anything in the OP,which is about it trending high in niche categories like "political propaganda" and "communism and socialism". It also discusses things like it's well recognized popularity in the developing world. Which have been discussed extensively long before this

Hitler's Mein Kampf Seen As Self-Help Guide For India's Business Students

Today's youth is raised on killing everywhere they look. Violence is their idea of fun, video brainwashing lead to young kids going to schools and killing each other. Television violence is skyrocketing for proof watch The Blacklist. Kids are farther away from their parents than ever before and single parents are becoming the norm. Hitler succeeded for one reason he knew how to work a crowd. Take todays youth and feed them a story that they feel relates to them and you have a brave new order. The haves and have nots gap is increasing. The youth does not buy in to present day government rather they see it as a failure to deliver on its promises. I truly believe we are on the verge of a major revolt by our youth. The rich get richer and the number of poor people continues to climb. All the ingredients are falling in to place.
