Hell, I'll even give you your first line: "This is 'Merica god dammit! We're a christian country! If you don't like it you can get the **** out!"

Understood what you want in front of government buildings: "Notice: All independent thoughts, expressions and statements are strictly forbidden. All statements or representations indicating any spiritual, metaphysical or religion inference are strictly prohibited."

And you want all American history books to delete any reference to religion and sub silentio present all previous Americans as atheists.

The concept of historic accuracy and any belief and moral system other than yours is totally unbearable and intolerant to you, for which the government should ban anything to contradict your values and what you retroactively want history to be.

Finally, for your: This is 'Merica god dammit! We're a christian country! If you don't like it you can get the **** out!" - actually I've never seen any inscription on any statute written as ignorantly, crudely and of as low spelling knowledge.

It is spelled "America" and a capital C is used for "Christian." Writing out words phonetically as you apparently you speak doesn't work well for the English language. So while you obviously say "Merica" yourself, actually it is spelled American.

Every word after the first word demonstrates that you do not know the meaning of the first word.
You have understood nothing and that is sad.
I think some nice rose bushes would be nice. No need to clutter it up government buildings with stupid signs made up by a christian, whose understanding of the 1st amendment is so dubious.
what belief and moral system? atheists have many belief and moral systems, to which one are you referring?

    They're not the real Satanists.

The NYC satanic temple is sponsoring it, and they're theistic satanists, i. e. they worship something called the "devil." The official Church of Satan (LaVeyan Satanists) does not sanction it.

Preach it, brother. Shout it from the mountain top. Spread your gospel.

and while doing all that you let the IRS determine what qualifies as a religion, which is truly a bizarre thing.

The Church of Satan seems like a bunch of wacked out hedonists who like to grow goatees. They're mostly atheists who have decided that their ego is their moral standard (surprise!). I was looking at their web site and they're definitely not for this display. It makes you wonder why they've decided to call themselves the "Church of Satan". They seem to be into roleplay and are probably a bunch of LARPers composed of older HS goth kids.

The theistic satanists are what most people think of when they hear "satanist". They were the ones shouting "Hail Satan" at a pro-life rally a few months ago. Much more interesting than the wacked-out atheists in my opinion. I wonder if they get into fights with the Church of Satan.

WRONG. The Church of Satan doesn't mandate any specific clothing style or fashion--Sin #9 only requires aesthetic sensibility and some effort to be made in dressing up--that's it.

If the CofS got into a fight, it would be a sin according to the CofS rules #2 and #8 in the 11 Satanic Rules. See link above.

I'll be sure to study all the rules of the Church of Satan...

They should also get with the program and sell some merchandise on their web site like the Satanic temple people do. It could help them pay for their halloween costumes or buying binges at Hot Topic. I especially like the Satanic coffee mug. Spooky. oooh.

It's their right I suppose, but this is just unreasonable.

IMO, religious based community monuments should be voted on via direct democracy. Let the general public of that community decide what they want to see everyday on their dive home from work or whatever...

Or, what most people want, the taxpayers will say enough is enough and they will eliminate *ALL* religious displays on public property. That's what we're shooting for, by making it absurdly difficult to deny anyone equal rights, the only way everyone can be equal is by denying all displays.
There is nothing demonstrably true that religion can provide the world that cannot be achieved more rationally through entirely secular means.
