We leave Iraq in the control of the government, they lose a major city within 2 years to the very people we fought against for years. For what? Riding the high horse off into the sunset, trillions in debt....only for it to fall back into the same hands, back into the same scenario that has been going on for god knows how long.

The dam will eventually break, no matter what you do, the day will come when it breaks. When it does, the water will flow, as it has since the beginning. Nature always wins. The nature of that region is violent, tribal warfare. If they weren't fighting us, they would be fighting each other. This is what they do, tigers cannot change their stripes.
Yeah, it's really sick too, to have spent big blood and big treasure. I feel very thankful that I don't personally know anybody who's blood was spent on that bull **** or I'd be even more pissed.

Hey, I agree Dave and I'm with you on that 100%. I'm just meeting this guy where he's at, and if people have to look at it that way to feel motivated to stop it, I consider it better than talking over the fence to some of the others that at this late date, STILL want to go forward in the ME based upon domestic propaganda.
