Well, that's why it's possible Willie being younger with a more vested future in business might reword some of his fathers ideas. I've read his statements carefully and besides saying that "morphing" comment he was careful not to accuse anyone or group specifically. And Willie will probably articulate that point more clearly that they don't condemn people just "sin" as they see it or read it in the bible. That's not quite as controversial.

Theres no question Phil is a pretty direct and straight shooter. I think thats more a generational thing. I still thnk its goofy people took his words and 'morphed' them into an insult.

I doubt many would care to watch a full video of a talk given by the man, but if they did, rather than attempt to find insult in snippets, they would see a different person.

As I have said...I dont see God and Scripture the same way he does...but thats not hatred.

I never thought he meant bad towards anyone. Some people who are sensitive about certain political issues don't wish well to anyone they see as having a differing opinion. It's hypocritical to preach tolerance on one hand, then condemn on the other. I don't like people pointing out sin or preaching too much but I don't condemn them for having an opinion. Free Speech has to be honored from every direction.
