Boy Scouts to accept openly gay youth starting in January

Oh yea, got to drag the church into it. Grew up in the church, no one ever laid a hand on me. I still to this day call bull**** on 99% of those accusations.

Did Jesus ever say anything about the gays? I can't recall any relevant quotes. Old Testament obviously says some things, but it also says no shrimp.

There is only one Gospel, not one taught by Jesus and another on taught by Paul. Both the Old and New Testaments condemn homosexuality.
 
I am a former Boy Scout myself. I achieved the rank of Eagle. I can no longer support the organization in any way due to this change in policy.

I have asked the local council to remove my name from the list of Eagle Scouts living in the area and I've informed the medieval recreation group I'm part of that I will no longer participate in any of the 8-12 demonstrations we've done each year for the BSA.

So Jesus never condemned homosexuality, then. Ok. So why is shrimp ok now but being gay isn't?

I'm not trying to be rude here, I just am not familiar enough with the biblical support for the idea.

I know quite a few parents that have don't the same. Soon enough there will be no BSA in the US. Just what the gays wanted.

I don't know if it'll die but it will be seriously damaged. I was a 3rd generation. Boy Scout. If I have a son he will not continue that tradition. I know more than a few who feel the same way.
