Sadly for democrats, the honeymoon period is just starting to wear off for the vast majority of Americas.

Either it is false, or Obama wants to keep them there.

I don't think you know what that phrase means.

    The BBC is state media.

    Youtube is not a citation.

Yeah, he has been "trying" since before he was elected. And by trying I mean doing literally nothing.

Lots of politicians on both sides of the aisle in Washington, D.C. have been doing/not doing exactly the same thing and as long as the voters keep sending them to Washington the same thing will keep going on.

The only way to change the game is to change the people who are playing it.

Bitching and complaining won't change a thing as long as America keeps sending the same do-nothing people back to Washington.

Thats bull. I would have to think poorly of those who run secret prisons that are absurd for the US to have. You can try to use obtuse logic bombs to try to make me look like some sort of zero-patriot but that doesnt mean its true.

We could speed up the process of death by send them the same **** our kids eat at school.

You can compartmentalize the actions of our Government all you want. Doesn't change what I said.
It still takes a very low opinion to say such. Which is obvious as what you asked is not something that our country is known to do.

And just because you do not like the concept, or idea of the prison, that in no way shape or form makes them absurd for us to have.

Apparently GITMO has a new policy to not report or release #'s of how many people are still on hunger strike because it attracts to much attention to GITMO. There also seems to be a good amount of prisoners at GITMO who are still on hunger strike.
This is such a fascist policy. As far as I'm concerned GITMO is full of innocent people, because very few of them have been given trials, and without a trial, one can not be guilty of a crime. I find it insane that people would lock people in cages without a trial, all because somebody somewhere said they might be a terrorist.

Not really. We're already permanently imprisoning innocent people (as they haven't had trials), and we know they've been tortured, so withholding food isn't that far of a step.

How would you like it if you were nabbed by a foreign government and put in a secret prison with no contact with the outside world, all because a foreign official thought you might be a terrorist? If they truly are big bad terrorists, we should have no problem convicting them.

Prove that is the case with these folks.

I can usually tell when someone responds so fast that they barely read my response and will likely write a poorly thought out one-liner. And here we are.

So you're making the claim that everyone in GITMO has had a trial?

BBC News - Q&A: Guantanamo detentions
No trial, transfer or release: Gitmo's 'indefinite detainees' identified ? RT USA
Guantanamo Indefinite Detainees List Released By Obama Administration

Are you so misinformed that you think they've all been given trials or are you just too lazy to educate yourself on the subject? I imagine you just don't give a **** because if a bureaucrat tells you someone is a terrorist, you believe them.

    iLOL

I can tell that you did not pay attention to what I quoted and made response to.
Making you guilty of the which you absurdly proclaim I am.
The fact is, you made an unsupportable claim and are now trying to deflect from it.
I asked for proof of that claim and you failed to provided any (which is being lazy), but you instead responded with an absurd attack. Typical.

Those in Gitmo are not there simply because "somebody somewhere said they might be a terrorist".
