Ted Cruz Walks Out Of Nelson Mandela Memorial Service In Protest

All Dems need to do is plaster Ted Cruz's greatest hits all over the face of said candidate..
And ask the question, do you want Cruz being a Committee Chair and in the ****ing Majority..Really??
Even Rubio and Paul are against the House's bill which got 332 ****ing votes..

I think the current trend and it is going the Republicans way is caused by the ACA. Even in most Democratic age group 18-29 are not opposed to it. Independents are opposed to it by a 35 to 61% margin. Unless somehow Democrats can get the public attention off the ACA 2014 may not be very kind to them. Even party affiliation for the Republicans is climbing back up. See below:

Year…Dem…Rep…Ind…Ind.Lean.Rep….Ind.Lean.Dem…..True.Ind

2012…35……30…..33………..12……………………16…………………5 Taken Nov 4, 2012, 2 days before the election

2013…30……20……47……….18…………………..18………………..11 Taken Oct 6, 2013 during shutdown, pre ACA

2013…30…….24….44………..18…………………..14………………..10 Taken Dec 8

If you count the leans the Republican are at 42% vs 44% for the Democrats where as during the shutdown the numbers were 38% Republican, 48% Democrat. Even the generic congressional race has swing from an 8 point Democratic Advantage to a 2 point Republican one. The ACA is definitely dragging down the Democrats, IMO anyhow.

Two-thirds of americans want the ACA to be fixed and work well, not to be recalled..
Only 26% want the ACA repealed..
Each new day sets the GOP back further into negativity on ACA, truth be damned .

Cruz was probably networking. It's no secret he plans to run for president of the United States, why wouldn't he want to meet world leaders and possibly gain their support?

The big question is why was Obama there, besides trying to meet girls.

Here:

Majority of Americans Want Major Changes to Health Law

Gallup 37% in favor 52% against with 20% wanting it scaled back and 32% repealed of those opposed. I still think the ACA is a losing proposition for the Democrats.

Your ridiculous partisanship knows no bounds. God forbid Obama share a laugh with a female head of state.
Photog Who Snapped Obama ‘Selfie’ Pic Says the Media Have Michelle’s Reaction All Wrong | TheBlaze.com

You people have lost all sense of reality.

And those who claim that Obama's "selfie" (which wasn't a "selfie," since HE WASN'T HOLDING THE GODDAMN CAMERA) was untoward at a funeral have failed to realize that:

1. It wasn't a funeral, it was a memorial service.
2. It was a four-hour long celebration of Mandela's life, not a solemn affair.
3. It was during a break in the service.
4. He was asked to do it.

There's plenty of things to go after Obama for. This isn't one of them.

What's extremely ironic is that the only people who are getting outraged by the "selfie" are people who hate Mandela anyway.

That's the funny thing about right wing extremists they can never keep their attack on target.

"He's an athiest".
"he's a muslim".
"he's a marxist"
"he's a communist"
"He's a nazi".

Ted Cruz IS a walking publicity stunt. Don't you remember...this is the same Clown that thought this was a good use of taxpayer money:
Ted Cruz Reads Green Eggs & Ham Because He Will Not Eat Obamacare - YouTube
Seems he was pretty darned prescient regarding the Obamacare nightmare though, wasn't he? Would have been better for us all if he had been successful... ask all those that will be affected very negatively.

And reading his kids a bedtime story when he couldn't be there with them in person... I guess in liberal world, that might be some sort of blasphemy?

LOL....spending millions of taxpayer dollars reading green eggs and ham and failing badly at making an analogy all the while "Claiming" to be a fiscal conservative....what a moron and a grade A hypocrite.
Cruz is nothing but a media whore and political grandstander.

Was worth it. Spend a few [plain chump change by lib standards of waste ]dollars in a bid to save a whole bunch more dollars, in the billions, tens... way more... When nobody [ well maybe Mike Lee, Rand or Marco every so often ] else is even looking to do the right thing?

Got the focus on what it should be, on this mon-flopping-strosity of Obamacare; a last ditch try/warning, certainly an audio visual beware out therecried iton the wilderness about this ugly broken, and keeps breaking, beast just before its failed rollout. Before it, the real__i t, had actually begun to hit the fan blades... this side bolstered by the fact the Republicans had not one vote for this ugly mess of hooey you guys saddled upon of American backs.

We kinda had to take the hit, the shut down hit, first but you folks now completely own this sucker, own this loser bun-of-a-sitch lock stock and barrel now, almost everyone knows it stinks only of democrats.

Are you serious? This was nothing more than a publicity stunt by Cruz on the taxpayer dime. The man is a hypocrite like none other.

And if Sharpton walked out of a service where a Klansman spoke, he'd be "standing up for his principles", right?

Too funny.
Is that what Jon Stewart told you to think, is it? ...or who is that you dems look to as your top Democrat strategist/pundit now... Bill Maher?

BTW... How is that Obamacare thang working out for ya, any better than that hopey changey thang did?

Really? Is that the best you can do? That was a little weak.

As for Obamacare...there's a lot of that will need to be fixed. The biggest problem with it is the Republican/Heritage foundation idea of the mandate. That is the biggest thing causing the problems...single payer would be best or even the public option, but we'll get there eventually.

the mandate is essential to the plans functionality. You can't separate the two

Truth is rarely weak... unless as interpreted so by those with the previously existing condition of feeble opinions. Maybe Obamacare has something for that, eh?

Nah, as regards Obamadontcare, you and yours had your shot, you blew it... a complete and utter air ball. Probably lose the Senate in fairly dramatic fashion... we will more than retain the House, then override Oblahblahblah's veto, if any. Can you believe the country will have to live with that imbecile for three more years...he is clueless...

Maybe that sign language guy can get a message through somehow, tho. :lamo:lamo:lamo

Yes and no. The public option would have been a much better program and wouldn't have had all the problems inherent in the mandate. Because the party of NO refused to even seriously work on health care and because a handful of bluedogs wouldn't vote for the public option, we got the basic Republican plan....its a start, but it needs to be taken further.
