I took a few minutes and did a Google search of: "Scott Walker's campaign asks supporters to skip toys for kids and send money to him instead."

Generally I have little use for Yahoo news, but I liked this article.

I guess on the plus side if you send the money to Walker instead of going to the mall you don't have to fight your way through the sometimes-violent crowds there.

I found it interesting that the article ended with the statement that the Walker campaign had not responded to an ABC News request for comment on the fund-raising email.

I'm not sure I understand the point of this question. What difference does it make the eventual outcome of the race when the problem is that they are doing it at all?

Is it not as slimey if they win?

Lol, I remember when Obama did this! It's such a great idea who needs toys right? We need these people in charge to help make things better. at the time I had two children I set the ball down and explain to them I told them how much or leader needed our support, I guilt get them into allowing me to spend their Christmas money on Obama instead of worthless toys. it was the best Christmas ever!!!

Actually Gov. Walker's people are claiming the woman was fired for racial tweets she sent in 2011, not the dumbass website in lieu of gifts solicitation. Might be true but if so it sure took a long time for that to be decided... :roll:

Well, sort of, but the article clearly says he was fired for something else not this, and that attempts to get Walker to respond about the email have gone unaddressed. So I don't think he,Walker, is bailed out of responsibility at all at this time.
