What are you talking about? As far as I know it has been only a few hours since the court approved making a bankruptcy plan, and you already know the details? Please supply a link and I will discuss.

EDIT: Better yet start a thread on it, as it is not relevant here.

some of the bills are obviously political traps.
Okay, the house would howl. But how do the American people feel about the EPA? Do most want it done away with or do most want it to stay? If most want it to stay, Reid would come out smelling like a rose and bloody the nose of the Republican house. But only if the most Americans want it done away with, would the house come out on top. Sometimes these things need to be played out. I do not have the faintest idea how the majority of Americans feel about the EPA, I would guess that more want it than don't, but I have nothing backing me up on that.

But I am all in favor of giving the American people what they want or don't. Political traps, both parties lay them all the time, I would wager that Reid has laid some good one for the expiration of the Continuing Resolution coming up in January in hopes the Republicans step into one.
This Reform Party member thinks it is high past time that we start electing Americans to congress and the presidency who put America first and their political party further down the line. But for way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.

I never heard of that, but if it is true you have a very valid point. But even if Cantor refuses, let Reid take the initiative and do it himself. There are plenty of ups and very little down by doing so.

Reid has his hands full with the House rarely meeting, Obama, the filibuster, and his wild left--ist caucus led by E. Warren..
On a side, Rep. Paul Ryan and Sen. Patty Murray are making progress..
The best thing for D.C. is to be stealth and secretive, or both sides will just posture and break down in public, like with PPACA .

I sincerely agree with you unless the EPA goes way overboard. I think in the battle you mentioned in your previous post the house would take a licking. I might get peeved at the EPA for declaring a mud puddle that is only there for a couple of months a year a wetland area, but I don't know of any one who wants to do away with it completely. Rein it in some, yes. I am for that, but not for doing away with it. It is too valuable. I think they have made a bunch a asinine decision as my mud puddle. But where would we be without them?

What the people want is more common sense from the EPA and less insanity. But it is the insanity that gets the headlines.

I hope they are successful. Somethings are better handled behind closed doors and a cloak of secrecy.
