Reported Paul Walker of Fast and Furios fame dead at 40.

For the record, I pointed out the Drudge headline because Drudge has a fairly good track record of breaking stories and/or getting the word out from sources I generally don't hit. He's also fairly quick to remove them if they turn out to be bunk, so it's still there, I assume it's true. RIP Mr. Walker, hope you family can find comfort in their time of loss.

Talk about partisanship.

Actually Santa Clarita/Canyon Country is one of the safest large communities in America. Everyone has a cop for a neighbor.

Liberals even move there after being mugged.

When I first read the title of the thread, and since the DP is suppose to be a political website not a website about penis sizes and Hollywood left gossip, I thought the thread was about a whistle blower who exposed Obama's gun running and arming the Mexican drug cartels.

I haven't seen any threads about dead American soldiers returning from Afghanistan since I have been on the DP. What about their sons and daughters ?
May I make a suggestion? Relax okay? There are threads on our honored dead, I didn't post this because I'm some hollywood gossip hound, rather because it was "breaking" news. Hell I've only seen the one F&F.

Choose your battles wisely friend, this isn't a wise battle.

It's been confirmed via Mr. Walker's personal, verified Twitter account, as well as his publicist.

What on earth is the matter with you?

As to your last comment, apparently he didn't care too much about leaving his own daughter fatherless or he wouldn't have been screwing around in a car in such a way as to wrap it around a tree, or to remain in the car where someone else was being equally moronic.

Or maybe i don't live in some topsy turvy Alice in Wonderland Type world where reality is turned completed on it's head and i understand that we're human, we make mistakes and sometimes it can cost us our lives. I certainly do not think that just because someone may make a poor choice that they deserve to end up dead and they don't give a rats ass about their loved ones.

A number of friends just worked with him on Fast and Furious 7. Facebook chatter is pretty shocked.

It's not a mistake when a car is wrapped around a pole and bursts into flames, that's recklessness. Drunks and assholes on the road I've got no patience or sympathy for. Thank god his "mistake" didn't hurt anyone else as is usually the case with such reckless driving.

So you admit not reading what the thread entailed. That's not very bright is it? It's kinda difficult to join a discussion when you don't even know what's being discussed. Just FYI, YOU don't get to decide what threads are posted on DP. You don't like a particular thread then don't contribute, it's pretty simple.
.

I read the article before I posted. It was the title that caught my attention, "Fast and Furious."

Unlike some, I don't get star struck by those in the movie or music industry or even those who are in a high political office. Probably because where I grew up and how many I personally have known. Couldn't walk around my entire life being star struck over people who are no better than I, you or the unfortunate homeless bum on skid row.

So rather than simply pass on the thread once you realized it wasn't about some overhyped gun-running "scandal," you decided to take a few potshots at liberals along the way. You're a real class act.

Judgmental aren't you? Of course, nobody has any inside information on what may have caused the accident... the drive-shaft could have snapped for all we know... or even who was driving. That doesn't seem to matter to you. If someone died in a car accident, he freakin' well deserved it, eh? That will be great comfort for all the relatives of the 34,000+ people who died in traffic accidents last year alone. They deserved it, according to you.

You just lost more than a few credibility points around here.

wow just crazy, sad for his family wonder what actually happened

wonder if they will try to replace him, fast and furious actually was just inked to go to 9 films

like to get more details i bet its on surveillance somewhere, i was really wishing this wasnt true until i looked it up myself

I responded to the post because I'm probably more familiar with that area than anyone else on the DP.

Looking at the photos, it looks like the driver must have been driving at an extremely high rate of speed and lost control.

And I'm going to guess that Walker wasn't even behind the wheel.

Walker was attending a fund raiser for the people of the PI's. A worthy cause.

Now run down stairs Kobie, it's milk and cookies time isn't it ?

As a guy who knows a lot about cars I can tell you that wrapping a car around a pole isn't automatically a reckless driving incident. Things can happen, a throttle can stick(I've had that happen to me), a brake system can fail, you can have a fatal failure in the steering column, a caliper can stick on a wheel and pull you out. As well, people can overcorrect if cut off by another driver, for all we know they may have swerved to miss something in the road.

It's a shame that these two were killed in the accident, but without a report people should reserve judgement.

There are many pictures and videos of people over estimating what super cars can REALLY do crashing it. It stated a single car accident wrapped around a pole and the car was a very expensive, very fast Porsche. Such cars really can't do what they show in the movies.

A Porsche GT costs $500,000 and is a 200+ mph car. Extremely fast, but it is more a prestige supercar than an ultimate supercar. 600 horsepower, 500 ft/lbs torque. 0-60 in 3.8. Plenty quick, but many supercars well exceed it.

If it's on the Drudge, it's 99.999 % true and most of the times it's something that the fringe on the left don't want you to be reading.

I thought that would be the healthy recommendation. I wouldn't recommend anyone read Drudge for anything, ever. The only thing that that guy ever did was help expose how Clinton got his dick wet, and even that led to disappointment.

He was the starting point for bloggers. Bloggers are the conglomeration of the assholes of the internet, who should burn in hell, perhaps in one of the exclusive layers described in Dante. Again, if you like Drudge, you are a Satan Worshiper. To expand, if you like bloggers, you are a Satan Worshipper.

Making a mistake is losing your grip on your phone causing it to drop and crack....

Not making the conscious decision to drive like a complete retard to show off a car to a friend. Or encouraging a friend to do the same.

He went from fast and furious to gone in 60 secs

Rest in peace. Best wishes / thoughts / prayers for his family.

You don't read the "Drudge Report" you click on links that take you to other news sources articles.

I suppose there might be a few you haven't discovered that your suppose to click on the links and only read the reedited titles of the links. Matt Drudge is considered to be one of the best for wrting titles for news stories.

Back in the beginning of the "World Wide Web" (WWW), dial up speed and Windows had just come out with their browser, there was no website on the WWW where you could go where you could find news stories from numerous sources. It would take you eight hours to search and find what was on the WWW that could be found on the "Drudge Report."

In the beginning of the WWW, all there was, was porn. The only people making money on the internet were owners of porn sites. The future of the WWW was in doubt.

Then there was Kenneth Star and "News Week" magazine who had a story about a blue dress covered with cum stains. "News Week" decided not to run the story but Matt Drudge got hold of the "News Week" story and posted it on the "Drudge Report." The story caught Kenneth Star's attention and Star got side tracked. If Matt Drudge hadn't posted the "News Week" story, Al Gore would probably be getting out of federal prison today and Bill Clinton probably wouldn't have been reelected because the American people would have found out that the Democrat Party puts politics before America and the Constitution.

Re: Bloggers

Those damn bloggers like "Little Green Footballs" that busted CBS News trying to throw a Presidental election with a forged letter just days before the election.

And if that turns out to be true, I'll rescind. But I can assure you, that if this was a no-name Mexican, and for any reason it got into the national news, no one would be mourning, they'd be blaming him for his stupidity, which in to my perspective is the right attitude regardless of the fact that Walker is a blond haired, blue eyed, white actor.
