Not a chance, not if they have an ounce of sense. If they want to keep their jobs then they'll show up for work.

Totally false. They can not show up and still keep their jobs--

(CNN) -- It's a slice of life you don't often hear about.
Shortly after a manager at a Pizza Hut franchise in Elkhart, Indiana, announced that he was fired for refusing to open on Thanksgiving Day, the company is offering him his job back.

The federal govt. generally doesn't care about labor; it's more interested in dolling out taxpayer $$ to corporations.

Though something tells me WF doesn't get much corporate welfare.

If a union doesn't like being forced to work on Thanksgiving, fire everybody in the union. There are plenty of scabs out there who need jobs.

All corporations get government welfare, in the form of limited liability. The value of limited liability cannot be overstated, and it is the root cause of all corporate corruption.

If an employee does not show up when scheduled, he/she quit.

How many more jobs do you think are out there for these people?

of all the falsehoods repeated about Walmart, this is one thing people actually can blame walmart for. They were opening their doors early on T-day evening and holding all the shoppers in line for hours before they officially started selling stuff, thereby sponging up the pool of crazy white people shopping like the EBT system was down.
