Isn't that the way it's supposed to be?

I mean, God forbid that the employees of the tax payer have to compete with other workers on merit, or take any responsibility for their own actions. Oh the horror...

What exactly did the guy do that was illegal and what crime shall he be charged with? Ok if not a crime, was he operating his site at work? Why, exactly do you want to fire him? By the way, I would fire him right or wrong, but I want to think that through.

I don't think anybody should be fired for their political views. This applies for white supremacist as well. If a black person believes their race is superior to the white race this might actually improve his/her work performance. A confident worker is usually more resilient to criticism and open to the opportunity for improvement.

White people should be white supremacist. Black people should be black supremacist. They should never be fired for expressing a respect for who they are as a person. This political correct nonsense can be really disgusting at times.

Nobody ever bothers to look into the views of these types of organizations. They are incorrectly labeled as hate groups. I am not aware of any white supremacist or black supremacist that calls for the extermination of the other race. That is not what these organizations represent.

This is ignorant nonsense. This story is fake as all get out.

Exactly what I was talking about. We all find it offenseive on both sides, but lets think about this.

He has to have a security clearance for that job. His actions are enough to revoke his clearance.

I read (can't find the link) that a check of his work computer revealed he had in fact up dated his web page as well as answered and sent emails about the site from his work computer.

And lastly, the article quoted the Southern Poverty Law Center that states it better than I can:
"DHS should be tracking Kimathi, not employing him,"

If he updated or spent significant time and neglected his duties while on the computer, discipline might be in order. But no different then if he had been checking his kids soccer schedule or order stuff from Lands End. What would give them the right to track him.

I agreed until the part in red. A lot of these organizations can definitely be labelled as hate groups and I'd wager you can't find a single one who couldn't be. They're not called 'supremacists' because they want to live in harmony. Supremacy entails dominance over other groups. So a group can't be said to espouse an ideology of supremacism if it doesn't espouse a language advocating dominance over other groups. This language is very different from racialist rhetoric. These aren't people seeking to live in segregated communities under one government. These are people who want to dominate other groups.
I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become a reality. - MLK
