"Are you saying this contract was awarded in 2007 before the law was even in existence?"

Do you see the Word in bold and that is much bigger tan the others?

How could this contract have been awarded back in 2007 when the law didn't exist?

And this is exactly like I explained to hatuey. When the latest "scandal" falls apart under the weight of facts, just try and justify it with a bunch of other supposed scandals that fell apart.

So, Bubba, got any evidence at all yet that Michelle Obama knew this woman? Of that she was friends with her? Without that much, there is a total nonstory here. I know, facts, the conservative kryptonite...

So tell me, if you were shown evidence that both women were in the same small student organizations at the same time in Princeton, what would you say then.

Since a. the government had contracted extensively with this company before the woman ever worked there; and b. the government had contracted extensively with this company before Mrs. Obama became First Lady, that even if they were the bestest friends in the whole wide world, this is STILL a non-story.

Nobody is "making believe" anything. Regardless of anything that's been posted, we don't know if they personally knew each other. I was a member of a few student associations in college, and I certainly didn't know everybody in them. The conservatives on this thread are acting as if the fact that they graduated together is proof positive that this was a cronyist sweetheart deal, and the evidence of that is scant.

Did you know bubbabgone is really a muslim plant with plans to blow up the outhouse behind the RE Lee museum? I have offered as much evidence to back that up as he has to back up his claim.

Thank you for the completely pointless "contribution" to the discussion.

The amount of vitriol the right directs at Michelle Obama is simply amazing. You can argue all day that the left gave it to Bush just as bad as the right gives it to Barack Obama, and you could make that argument legitimately (not saying you'd be right, but you wouldn't be approaching the line of incredulity), but Michelle is routinely subject to far more venom than Laura Bush ever was on her worst day. It's not even CLOSE.
