Law enforcement officials are investigating a threat against Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), who was vaulted into national prominence with his push to defund ObamaCare. A person identifying himself as Troy Gilmore Jr., posted on Twitter Friday morning: “Take down Ted Cruz, at his home” and listed Cruz’s home address in Houston.

“What goes around comes around CRUZ!!” the person wrote.


The author of the threat uses the Twitter handle @ArmyVet54 and identifies himself as having served in the U.S. Army and Navy.

Wow, it's getting rough out there.
 
It has been 'rough' for awhile now, guess it depends on if it in incoming or outgoing from your POV how rough it is at any particular time. from calls to reload to cross hair ads things have been rough. The article says several guys are either sentenced or on trial for threatening the President.

Dunno if this guy really is a vet as he claims but I guess it does highlight not all of us are happy Cruz usurped the Veteran's march for political gain.

But it has been rough for quite awhile now.... glad some are beginning to see that even if they waited until a TP was threatened... :peace
 
I hope the FBI doesn't look at some of the posts on this board from a very few of our overly left leaning and very angry friends (members). Some of their posts are worse than what this guy posted (minus posting the address). This goes for a very few of our overly right leaning and also very angry friends (members) as well.

My point?

Everyone needs to calm down and think before saying or doing something...
 
The ones to worry about are the ones who don't post their nicknames with their IP on public forums. It's those individuals who neighbors always say kept to themselves and seemed pleasant that worry me.
 
Maybe someone took all the name calling lobbed his way seriously. From terrorists, arsonists, bomb-vest wearer, etc. Funny, didn't see much of call civility. In fact, the press seemed to hop on board full throttle with a few exceptions.

I'm not seeing a real, obvious threat.
 
I think Americans hate each other far too much. Bring jesus back into your lives and you can learn to love even a commie like me!
