Our Senate Dems don't seem to be high-fiving like the House Loons have throughout
tell me stories about how liberal like tolerance and diversity of thought.. I haven't heard those lies in a few days.
The Northern Whigs were more liberal than the Southern Whigs, Lincoln if you will..
The two come together in a VA Home in Quincy, IL..
as an aside, I'm not a Tea Partier... I think the whole "movement" is stupid, always have.... so go find a new leg to hump.
I know you're not Thrilla..I would prefer to make "my own lean", like maybe Liberty-I if I were you..Lincoln-D

Not really since they gained seats in the house Obama was reelected and gained seats in the senate.

That's why Obama's next agenda to save the Democrat Party and it's socialist agenda is AMNESTY and increasing legal immigration of uneducated and unskilled immigrants who are very likely to become dependent on government. With out 30 million new voters who will be dependent on government (tax payers) the Democrat Party is doomed.

Its sad it took people so long to have a unfavorable view of these people. Hopefully they will never again play a roll in our politics.
Now the Tea Party and Obama are neck-n-neck in the polls.

One of the strongest memes for/against 3 parties is from one/other current two parties to say we would be "more like Europe", ..
Deals would be have to be made between two of the three parties, mabe even four or five parties, Europeanism if you will.

Sorry, but the tea baggers are like crying children on an airplane on a late Friday night flight after a long week out of town....... ok, not a good analogy, as I like children and feel for both the parent and child..... but, they still are annoying. The Tea Party is at the root of most government dysfunction. I appreciate the role of the loyal opposition in crafting policy. The tea baggers have no interest in crafting policy; they just want to cry on the airplane.

I respect dissent and disagreement. I resent (and am not tolerant of) stupidity. Most republicans represent healthy dissent. Most tea baggers represent stupidity (the idea that not raising the debt limit would not be a big deal or even considering risking it --- stupidity.... contrary to virtually every expert on the subject).

I'm listening to C-Span and the house. My congressman David Scott a Democrat just give his one minute speech. He said we gave an oath to the federal government. to preserve and defend the federal government and more federal government this and that. Ah, last time I looked the oath was to the Constitution. The oath is to preserve and defend the constitution, not the federal government.

Ah, the house is done talking and the voting starts in the house. All the talk from republicans was conciliatory and the democrats very partisan rub your nose in it. I suppose they won that right and don't blame them. But it is like a baseball player who hit a game winning home run to take 5 minutes rounding the bases. Oh well, the only thing that matters is passage.

Still I find it very strange a congressman, mine to boot, doesn't know who or what he took an oath to.
This Reform Party member thinks it is high past time that we start electing Americans to congress and the presidency who put America first and their political party further down the line. But for way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.

I dunno about this polls legitimacy? In my area our Tea Party membership is way up. It's been growing every month since it's inception every month sees more membership over the year over year previous numbers, so not sure how this can be considered an accurate poll. And, just to note, the same trends are being reported all over the country in various districts?
