That was a few years ago.
Well some low life forms do take awhile to realize they are dead. Cut the head off a Cotton Mouth and it still tries to bite for at least an hour. I believe the Tea Party has separated itself from the body politic.

This snake is just taking awhile to die.

I read Cruz is at 17% approval rating and the Houston Chronicle, which endorsed his campaign has now publicly regretted doing that. When a paper says you are not even a Kay Bailey Hutchinson, that is no endorsement for President.

I think he and the more identifiable Tea Party members have jumped the shark on the ACA, and debt ceiling. He and Palin attending the White House protest was a bit too much.

As far as the Pew folks go, they seem quite on the money far more often than Rassy.

Fighting for control of the rudder is one thing, threatening to capsize the ship of state if you don't get your way is another.

Seems to be a temper tantrum the radical right uses ever generation or so of late. Works the same every time.

What is the definition of insanity?

The tea party has been totally humiliated by Obama, who stood his ground. Can you imagine how the tea party leaders are gnashing their teeth at being pwned by a black president.

It's a dead giveaway, Obama's socialist policies.

Its sad it took people so long to have a unfavorable view of these people. Hopefully they will never again play a roll in our politics.

Too the soooo out of touch radical right perhaps, for the rest of the more sane world it is repeatedly doing something expecting a different result.

I think it is far more insane for one major political party to allow a few of it's members to endanger our nation in a showdown they could never win.

"Give me the tiller or I capsize the boat" is not responsible leadership.

I expect, after the total humiliation and ejection of the GOP, we're going to hear a lot of silly talk like this from the rightwing noise machine, as it turns up the volume to 11 in order to drown out the sound of Republicans losing.

Could you explain something for some of us, why would you be celebrating increasing the national debt to 18 Trillion Dollars and still supporting a catastrophe known as Obamacare ?

I don't see why anyone would be celebrating.

If the libertarians and conservative and moderate independents were able to pull off a third political party, guess where most of the Republicans will be headed to ?

I think as soon as there's a competent mathematician who's able to explain to those who lack the knowledge of numbers on how much just a trillion is, The Democrat Party is in deep ####.
I think it all depends on your definition of majority party. Democrats usually outnumber Republicans, so does that make them a majority party? Or is a majority party a party that has above 50% of the electorate identifying/associating themselves with that party? The Democratic Party was that from 1932 to 1960.
This Reform Party member thinks it is high past time that we start electing Americans to congress and the presidency who put America first and their political party further down the line. But for way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.
