This would be like watching a Democrat back down after someone at CAP pisses and moans.

So I support the Senate Democrats on this. If the GOP wants to negotiate legislation they lost on, then the Democrats must do the same and require tax hikes for the rich, gun control, and so forth.

    1. If Christie is elected in 2016..
    2. The House goes Democratic in 2016..
    3. There is a similar but opposite impasse, if we can even imagine that..
    4. Christie maintains the Legislative authority that Obama wouldn't give in on.

Let me know if you ever develop the ability to discuss a matter in a sensible manner - otherwise, don't bother me. You can continue to report my posts in an attempt to have me infracted though, since that's your MO.

More like the green energy industry that witout ripping off the American tax payer in order to keep their weak product alive, because it can't stand on it's own feet. The diesel exhaust fluid scam is a prime example.

House GOP May Cancel Vote | National Review Online

now i don't read national reveiw, but Robert Costa has been pretty accurate in describing what is going on in the republican caucus.

House Debt Ceiling, Government Shutdown Vote Dead: Report
It seems official, the House deal is over before it started.

Some that came out of the meeting stated that the bill from Congress is dead. Thirty republican house members met in a Mexican restaurant and decided over dinner to hold the line on the ACA.

My guess - The House Republican leadership tried to come up with a plan that would give them a little and which if the Senate rejected they would look like the fools. The Thirty that met in the restaurant were having none of it. Their argument, I am guessing - "Hey, if anybody is going to look like a fool it will be us, dammit."

I almost feel sorry for Boehner. Was there ever a more ineffectual dope, trying so hard to prevent the freaks from destroying his party, but too cowardly to actually stand up to them. I emphasize almost.
