It is exactly who civilized people act.
Your post makes absolutely no sense. No, civilized people do not pick on alleged crime victims. That's disgusting behavior.

    Next.
Exactly, it's statutory rape, and you see nothing wrong with adults harassing a 13 or 14-year-old CHILD?

They choose to leave. Just as they could have chosen to stay.
I believe they chose wisely though with her daughter being a liar and all.
And what was originally reported as a mystery no longer is as it was investigated. Get informed.

And her lies does and has hurt the town.

    Wrong.
It was not statutory rape. The girl was 14. Not under 14.
    Duh!

She is still a child, mentally, emotionally and physically. Fourteen-year-old brains are not fully developed yet. She is a child, and you are patting the townspeople on the back for emotionally abusing a child, who probably already has some mental issues to begin with. How absolutely pathetic and heartless.

Circles again with you. Should of figured.

And again, she was not a victim in their eyes. She was a lying false accuser.
And treating a lying false accuser in such a way is not disgusting.

Perhaps you should learn how to type a sentence that actually makes sense. No circles here. It doesn't matter if she wasn't a victim "in their eyes." They are not the court of law.

If she is falsely accusing, that is for the court to decide.

None of what you said matter one bit.
    His actions were not illegal.

The townspeople were wrong to harass an alleged crime victim, regardless if YOU or others think she is lying. That is for the court to decide. We don't do vigilantism.

Whether Missouri defines statutory rape as under 14 or not, a 14-year old is still a child. And many states set the age of statutory rape far higher: Statutory Rape Laws by State
