If they start a TALKING filibuster, as few as two Senators could rotate and destroy the World economy, which they joke about..

I have been following a couple of sites that rate the house races by districts and not by the nation's generic polls. Both sites as of 9 Oct put the solid republican seats at 205 where one, cook puts the democratic solid seats at 163, the other at 168. Solid basically mean no way in hades will those seats switch parties.
This Reform Party member thinks it is high past time that we start electing Americans to congress and the presidency who put America first and their political party further down the line. But for way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.

    I would agree with that...
I don't often change my signature, but this was just too over the top to let anyone forget with what this country is up against...

It was my understand that a vote of cloture cuts off or stops any filibuster. So I checked it out, here is what it says:

cloture - The only procedure by which the Senate can vote to place a time limit on consideration of a bill or other matter, and thereby overcome a filibuster. Under the cloture rule (Rule XXII), the Senate may limit consideration of a pending matter to 30 additional hours, but only by vote of three-fifths of the full Senate, normally 60 votes.

The depth of the hatred that the tea party has for our President neither shocks nor amazes me.. It is, at this point, expected.

"Obama needs to get off his knees, put down the Koran, and come out of the WH with his hands up"..
And this kklown your state elected in the OK 2nd rails against the Stimulus while taking $370,000 from it.

Mild compared to the left's treatment of GWB.

There "is" no bottom for these people.. It is almost pointless to vote in Ok. if you are a Democrat, but we do anyway and "did" get a Democrat into the state legislature....Tiny steps is all we can do out here...

You would not have seen that much of it in OK.
