The largest problem with both sides is the partisans and democrats have 10x more partisans than "republicans."

Not that it matters considering us on the non-progressive side would never vote for a progressive... What progressives have is the less educated youth vote and voter fraud and that is what put's them over the hump the majority of the time.

A) most are ignorant to currant events and B) progressives play into their emotions..

I was once a progressive.... Yeah, government playing "Robin Hood" was "justice" at a point in time to me..... In reality that's no different than stealing ... A poor man may as well be allowed to walk into a gas station and rob it claiming "social justice" while skipping the governments role of stealing and redistributing....

Before you start your yapping - I'm talking about the federal government here - not local governments that pay for roads and schools and all the BS you you call "logical socialism."

The best part is that it's not even these kids fault - I'm sure many want to help and have a good heart but are misguided by asshole progressives in high places that are doing nothing more than BUYING THEIR VOTE for personal gain and elitist status..

At least the kids have good intentions... Can't say that about the 10% who just vote progressive because they're given free **** to vote progressive, or the partisan progressives that would rather see the world blow the **** up instead of seeing a tea party member in office or those in the ghetto that are thrown on buses and told who to vote for while they're being romanced by some community organizer telling them how much free **** they will get if they vote DEMOCRAT - then of course you have the dead that continue to vote democrat..

No--That the Dem legislature in Illinois probably ****ed you in your mind..And I don't blame you..
You are now probably in a minority/Majority CD..
Dems did win the total House vote, which does jump out..
But to be straight, there are complicated reasons for that..
Current statehouses that draw the CDs are estimated to be 2-1 for Repubs, hence the discrepancy.

I am so mad that conservatives like Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin don't use emotionalism but cool reason to win their debates. How do progressively possibly oppose such rationale discourse and logic!

I'm willing to bet he'll claim that TANF has enslaved blacks (he'll even use that term) because after all aren't all blacks welfare queens. Something like that. Never mind that only about 5M Americans receive TANF and 4.8 million of them are kids, average age 8. It won't matter. Tea partiers post from a TFZ - a Totally Fact-Free Zone.

His beef with Obama tends to rest on the fact that Obama hasn't done enough to use his high profile position to better further the interests of black america and bring awareness to the unique issues they face. Clearly I'm by far not his biggest fan, but he's not a sharpton and certainly seems to have the best of intentions.

PS also I highly doubt he's pushing for African Americans to vote for a republican. he's rather liberal

Passion for our existing civil rights as documented and outlined in the Constitution is considered "emotionalism?"

Stopping the progressive tyrants who want to destroy those civil rights is considered "emotionalism?"

We already know the tea party is responsible. That was clear from the beginning; common knowledge. So McCain isn't saying anything new.

McCain sounds like he's trying to criticize the tea party for the government shut down, but that doesn't make sense since shutting down the government was the right thing to do. The tea party did nothing wrong to then be critisized for it. McCain is trying to chastise people who do the right thing.

Last I knew, McCain was a tea party member, even ran for POTUS with a tea party VP. Pot meet kettle.

Social welfare, food stamps and other numerous subsidies that keep blacks dependent on government...

In reality it's more lucrative for a black to stay dependent on government than it is for a black to start from the bottom at a minimum wage job and progressively work their way up from there...

The simple fact that the government pays per kid when you're on welfare doesn't help either - so all these kids being born in the projects are nothing more than "money babies" - or born to a mother that just wants a few extra bucks... The simple fact that the government pays maximum welfare benefits to single parent families doesn't help either...

That's what the government want's anyways - they want blacks poor - they want people to be government dependent because THAT is what keeps these asshole progressives in power... Their campaign slogans should read "vote for me if you want a raise in free subsidies er free money."

What progress have democrats or progressives made with the poor (of any race) in urban communities considering they've had a stronghold on these communities for 60-70 years in some places like Chicago, Detroit etc?

No, these supposed "black leaders" the representatives of their communities do nothing more than throw free government handouts to the people, tell them it's not their fault they're poor while they use their position as a elected official to get rich....

See what Kwame Kilpatrick did to get a 28 year prison sentence...
