Do you ever actually get it right? Not only did the administration not make the decision, but according to the law, it was the required decision.

Not surprisingly, you are lying or badly misinformed. The Antideficiency Act makes it illegal for federal workers to perform their job duties during a shutdown except in certain specific circumstances, even on a voluntary basis. The law was passed in 1870. *So unless you are going to suggest that Obama is really over 140 years old you have no point.* And since we all know you would be first in line to bitch if you felt Obama was not obeying the law, this all falls apart as just another example of the right wing blogosphere stupidity.

Another attack on Religious Liberties by Obama...

Nobody is being denied the right to religious worship. The base is closed, that doesn't mean civilian chapels off-post are closed. It also doesn't mean that personnel cannot hold their own chapel services in the barracks or housing, which was an alternative that was given when I was stationed in WSMR, when the government threatened a shutdown in 2011.
I love the NSA. It's like having a secret fan-base you will never see, but they're there, watching everything you write and it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside knowing that I may be some person's only form of unconstitutional entertainment one night.

Sarcasm noted but it only applies to those who think there is an Anti-Christ in the singular, there is not, there are many, so they say...

This? What about it? All it does is enforce suspension without pay, or removal from office. Nobody is going to jail.

Unless the Military changed drastically in the almost 20 years I've been gone, on Duty days you can't leave the base.

the article and the law that Redress(had to read that part to be in on the joke I suppose) thinks I should have known about or am lying that I didn't know about says you can go to jail even if you are preforming those functions voluntary

See, instead of admitting you got it wrong, you just changed it to another attack, this time because Obama did the right thing, and so you imagine that is rare, and attack him for it. This is why most people do not take the rantings of the far right seriously.

You can't leave post when on duty. Off-duty, you can go wherever the hell you want, unless you're deployed to a combat zone.

The Anti Deficiency Act doesn't allow for the penalty of imprisonment. If the priest violates the shutdown, all they can do is ban him from the base.
