GOP In Grave Danger Of Losing House In 2014, PPP Polls Show [W:78]

oh that's brilliant.... leave the entire federal government to single party rule:doh

are you kidding me dude?... it's a progressive wet dream to get conservatives completely out of power... they want you and your ilk gone for good.
there's a ton of us who don't like the notion of single party rule... but we can't do **** about it if you guys shoot yourself in the foot and the idiot progressives seize power.

you and you're conservative ilk better wise the **** up.

Single party-rule got us Obamacare.

TEA party...
It now stands for Tax Evading Anarchists and the mianstream GOP understand this.
The party will start eating their own as the Kochs threaten primarying uncooperative non-TEA republicons and traditional GOP funding goes against TEA assholes.
The infighting will cause the party to implode as centrist Democratic candidates become more attractive and reap the rewards of sanity.
i
Keep dreaming.

Stop playing the poor me victim card. What got us Obamacare was the stellar candidates the GOP put up. You can't win with the Mc Romney cards.

Excuse me, but I was responding to another poster's allegation, no victim card was played. And furthermore, Obamacare was already in place when the Presidential campaign started, so you fail to establish a cause.

Obamacare was not in place when Mc Cain ran for office. He lost then we got Obamacare. Romney ran in 12 and could have stopped Obamacare. Again the GOP failed to stop Obamacare. If the GOP puts up more like these two in 16 they'll most likely fail again. If the GOP was smart they would go ahead and fund Obamacare, let it run. We will know within weather it's gonna work. If not then the GOP has a winning hand. They can say " we funded it, gave it a fair chance and it failed" If it does work then they can take part of the glory. Or they can continue to kick and scream and piss off even more people and we'll end up with another Dem President in 16.

The folks that passed it didn't know what was in it; remember was Pelosi said?

We all know who and how it passed. At this point that don't matter. You guys have failed to stop it as you said you would. As I see it there's two choices. The GOP can get their collective heads out of the sand and do some critical thinking and planning or continue to have a tantrum and fade into the sunset.

It does matter? It's a ****ing nightmare. And the Supreme Court didn't okay it as a good law, they okayed it as a constitutional tax. Roberts never said it was good law, in fact I believe quite the opposite he thought it was a POS but it was quite constitutionally to tax ourselves stupid if we want to.

It really don't matter, it's law. The Supreme Court's job is not to say what is or is not a good law. It's their job to say what is or is not Constitutional, they did their job. It does no good to close the gate after the cows get out. A smart man don't kick the ground and complain about who left the gate opened, a smart man saddles up, rounds up the cows and put them back in the pen then closes the gate. Same thing here, the GOP can continue to whine and complain about Obamacare or they can figure out how to put it back in the pen. So far the whining and complaining has done no good, they just look like little kids that didn't get their way. Maybe they're just not smart enough to figure a way to round up the cows and close the gate. To continue to complain about what has already been established law will get you nowhere. You need to find a way to turn it around and put the blame on the Dems. As it is now the GOP is taking all the heat.

Crank historical revisionism -- another tea party trait.

So we're going to pretend that Obama didn't support the ACA in both elections and wasn't opposed in both elections and didn't win both election by a huge majority.

Ah, the tendency toward delusion that is modern conservatism.

So since the American people disagree and you can't repeal the ACA in Congress, you want to hold America hostage. Got it.

Two can play that game. The Democrats shouldn't raise the debt ceiling until taxes are raised on the rich and the military is cut by 75%. See, negotiations are FUN!

I am hoping your dem masters try to cut the military by 75%

Yeah, let's not raise the debt ceiling.....and see how it works out for you.

Starting with a tax hike on the rich. Yep, let's negotiate that.

O but wait, maybe the GOP position is totally dishonest.

Polls consistently show a majority of Americans if for cutting the military. Isn't this what the GOP for -- government by polls.

Typical, you either take things out of context, don't know WTF you're talking about or both.

90 percent of Democrats don't know there's any such thing as mid-term elections.

I am in favor of cutting the military too. we have too many men in too many client nations costing us too much money

I love it when blatantly biased and unapologetic "news" organizations prophesy on the demise of the opposition...

Then let's add that to the "negotiations". Seem like the GOP is against it.

I think Boehner is the one prophesizing the end of the GOP at this point. He realizes exactly what an internecine threat the tea party freaks pose for the Republicans.

Make me president and it will get negotiated. we should cut the military budget by 25% and the unconstitutional programs in half.

The Tea Party is better than what came before, which was a corrupt Republican establishment. If liberals prefer the Delay/Rove/Bush party over the Tea Party, it's only because they can be bought.
