That is like blaming the crack cocaine addicted baby of a user mother... we inherited these things now sewn deeply into the frayed fabric of our society, things that are killing our society. We are born addicted, then enticed by the "good intentioned" social pushers who offer society "free" things gained by taking other people's money, using that to sugar coat the horse pills we later have to swallow whole and in massive doses...

Socialism is Communism by slowly addicting a mostly unwary populace then clobbering them with the painful withdrawals and/or reprisals, like are going on now perpetrated by this administration, if we even try miniscule efforts to clean ourselves up... sickening...

Well, the good general laid it all out, the evil plan is exposed, point by point. Now all we have to do is compare it with what is really happening. The very first move: 1) Nationalize major sectors of economy.

Unless by "America" he means "Venezuela", our Marxists got stuck in the very beginning. Instead of nationalizing anything (as they should have, briefly, in the form of bankruptcy procedures for insolvent banks) our benevolent rulers did everything to bail the private entities out - some of them, with political pull and right connections.

Later on, the same rulers had organized an unprecedented transfer of wealth from unwilling middle class "buyers" to (again, selected) private insurance companies - the famous "individual mandate".

If these are actions of Marxists, they are the most confused and inept Marxists in history.

Yes Joe McCarthy was right and look how they demonized him! Only a fool would think there isn't a threat of Marxism today. Maybe it is due to ignorance and they wouldn't recognize Marxism if looking right at it.

While McCarthy was fighting Communism from the Soviet Union, today we are fighting it in the form of Islamic Jihadists. Marxism and this political Islam are soul brothers. Look no further than the Muslim Brotherhood and their Marxist ideology. If one thinks there's no threat in this country, then they haven't been following the news closely like the Holy Land Foundation trial which has proved how the Muslim Brotherhood has infiltrated this country through Homeland Security, the Military, and Intelligence. Last year Eric Holder was grilled on Capitol Hill to release the documents from the trial and he so far has refused to do so. Mind you these documents were made available to the defendents in their trials but the Dept. of Justice will not release them to Congress. Through the trial of this organization it was revealed those working with the Holy Land Foundation were in key decision making roles throughout our government down to "advisors" on the PC of speaking about Islam.

There are plenty more out there but no doubt you would find fault with them too because you aren't going to find Daily Kos or MoveOn or the MSM reporting on this story. In fact here is a link I found that proves at the time the media was silent on the whole matter.

It's a pity you allow your stinking partisan ties to allow you to be so blind. You see this isn't about one side or the other because BOTH have been tainted by the Brotherhood agenda. Here is an example of a Republican that got busted for his involvement.

Presidents don't pass budgets. They have to be introduced in the House and then are approved by the Senate and signed by the President.

I wouldn't call all involved "socialist". I would say that the right, Rep, have not always made the most of opportunities to reverse the creep of socialism into America, but considering the compromising necessary to get the budget through, it doesn't mean they were supporting socialism or definitely does not make them socialist.

Well, unlike you, I am not hating on capitalism. I accept the fact that there are socialistic parts to our society and their are also capitalistic. I choose neither one over the other, again unlike you.

If you are going to get technical here, I meant to say any that have proposed a budget for congress to eventually pass. Either way, they all funded socialistic programs.
