Actually while I totally agree with you that this is both parties fault I do have to say that Republicans actually are compromising more than the Democrats on this. Republicans first demanded that Obamacare get totally defunded. When Democrats said no to that the Republicans reduced their demand to allowing regular civilians the same exentions that both Big Business and Congress got. Where as Democrats have said no to everything regarding this situation.
No, the Republicans aren't. The compromise would be to take Obamacare off the table and the Repulbicans aren't wanting to do that. And the Dems want to keep Obamacare and they aren't willing to compromise there.
The one issue of Obamacare NIETHER side is wanting to budge, so it is BOTH their faults. The Republicans if they REALLY cared about the debt and spending, would take Obamacare off the table and then go for other cuts on the Dems side. Thay aren't. And I'm not saying the Dems are any better, they BOTH are at fault.
Neither side is working towards a compromise.
