Kind of plays to my point. If open, nobody would be inconvenienced. Nobody would be able to blame the other side. Nobody would put pressure on the other side.
If you claim sexual harassment to be wrong, yet you defend anyone on your side for any reason,
then you are a hypocrite and everything you say on the matter is just babble.

Umm...they're open spaces. They're ALREADY open.

And just for future reference, I'm not a part of the Tea Party. I think they're idiots myself.

The GOP shuts down the government and they investigate why government functions have ceased. A new level of tea party dishonesty. And of course everybody sees through it, so it's perfect to watch you defend it.
That is not what they are investigateing at all. And that is where you are spinning. Your own articles states the reason, which you apparently ignored in order to spin what was actually happening.

And they are open areas, particularly the OPEN OCEAN does not require ANY staff to be open. The monuments and such need staff to maintain, not blockade. You do know what an open park and open monument IS don't you?

    I owe you a well thought-out response.

Fanatics tend to read the news and everything on faux, but is that message getting to the middle, and it is not. It is firing up their base which is a slipping majority. They really do not get it that when you wstrike a no compromise pose you will not take the reasonable middle no matter how much fight you have in you. They are just turning things to the dems because peopl;e are going to realize a stupid government is better than no government because of this action. In 2014 they cannot say let us make everything republican because obama sits on top and they cannot get beyond that until 2016. EWven impeachment will not help because they will just have biden. So the next election they have pushed the curve to the left while leaving the mass of people in the center, and asfter all of this recovery gets squashed due to their meddling people are going to be sick of hearing it. They have been whining way too long to pretend this is just one issue they are fighting the good fight on. This is their spoiled fit because the dems have gotten some small things done that they do not like. This is the pushback from the right trying to tell the country they will crash it if we do not buckle under and make it a christian right nation, and the methodology to do this should be removed. It gives wauy too much power to whoever is the speaker and that just is not right. I hope that people stay focussed when this all ends and we get something into place that allows for a bill to be presented without the speaker's approval. There is always an override to one man's stupidity, and in this case there is not one that is good enough and it needs to be changed.

if your going to site Ed Schulz, when are you going to criticize conservatives for Rush Limbaugh, becuase we are dealing to the opposite sides of the same coin.

Re: House Republicans seek probe of D.C. monument closures

So this is what happens as i have stated earlier:
When you block budget conferences a whole year, try to repeal a law around 40 times when you know its not going to get anywhere, and you wait till the last second to try to pass a budget which includes approving Keystone pipeline, eliminating funding for PP, broad Tax Reform, defunding Obamacare, means testing for social security, and many various other things and the Democrats literally get nothing but keeping sequester cuts (which they dont like in the first place) and the gov stays open. Thats not a deal, thats not even governing. Thats trying to use the gov as a political tool. Then they want to use short term CR's to keep the government open for a short time so they can do the same thing all over again.
But this time the story has continued now they wanna keep parts only they want open instead of opening the whole entire thing up. I mean i applaud the WW2 vets going to the memorial i dont applaud when the Republicans go over there and use it for cheap political points but when they go and vote you can go look at their voting records and you will see they arent really "pro veteran" like they want to act like... Pretty pathetic.

What the Republicans in the House are doing is no different than the Dems in the Senate. BOTH parties want what they want and BOTH have put us into this mess.

The only thing I will agree with you on is the ACTUAL government shutdown (not the actions that lead up to it) is solely on the Dems as they are choosing what to close down and some it is rather silly. That actions leading up to the actual government shutdown is BOTH party's faults.

Wrong again. It is the People that administer the care of public lands via elections and taxes. The People decide what can and cannot go on in public lands. Not the government. The government is suppose to do what the People tells it to do. Not the other way around.

And I never once said that it belongs to me. That is nothing more than twist and spin. I said that WE own the land. Not the government. "WE" meaning every civilian and citizen of this country. Not you. Not me. Not Joe Blow down the street. "WE".

And it is even more twisted to think that the Government are the Masters and The People are the servents.
