The gov did because its closed and they are not considered essential and since the gov is close they closed down all non essential parts, the park being considered one of them.

    Again the gov did.

Or the gov as a whole because they didnt pass a budget therefore closing off national parks. This was decided in 1995 as i explained earlier.
So, ummm, your response is to confirm and agree that they did. Ok.
If you claim sexual harassment to be wrong, yet you defend anyone on your side for any reason,
then you are a hypocrite and everything you say on the matter is just babble.

Alright since a Washington Post blog isnt reliable or whatever
"Parks, Museums, and Monuments. Closure of 368 National Park Service sites
(loss of 7 million visitors) reportedly occurred, with loss of tourism revenues to
local communities; and closure of national museums and monuments (reportedly
with an estimated loss of 2 million visitors) occurred"

Nice try...but this portion of the report was footnoted to the Washington post...pg 15

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America's debt limit is a sign of leadership failure" - 2006 Senator Obama...leadership failure indeed!

Well you tried to blame it simply on the Obama administration now your moving it to "someone". I agree that the gov did but im disagreeing that the Obama Administration did.. Because they didnt sit around and check things they want to keep open.

    Yes really.
Let me say it again, since you seem not to understand.
A blog at the Post, is not the Post.

I am starting to think you do not understand that a blog is an opinion piece.
    It is not News Reporting.
Do you not understand this simple little fact?

For pete's sake how can you say republicans shut the gov down when harry reid has appropriations sitting on his desk? Also, dim commentary on the story. Even if the government is shut due to whoever you want to blame; the executive has discretion. President Obama has purposely inflicted maximum unnecessary disruption at an additional expense.
