All that this shutdown proves is that the Republicans and the Democrats are ****ing the whole thing up. Both parties should boot out the extremists and take back their parties.

I'm more concerned with Present Moment awareness, not Republican history rewriting.

O'rly? What makes you think that such dollars aren't be allocated to cover the deficit from treating the uninsured? I happen to know a few people in the insurance industry who are telling me that's exactly what's happening.

You also don't mandate personal responsibility.
You also don't encourage people to free ride like the GOP does.

Where do you get this kind of stuff from?
We just had a Presidential Election that centered on the Affordable Care Act.
    The Affordable Care Act WON.

    It is not Legislation.
It was signed into Law. It is LAW.
It was challenged and then upheld by a Right Wing leaning Supreme Court.
And then we had a National Election on it!!!

This Government Shut down does not slow down or hender Obamacare in any way shape or form.
It is merely a tantrum that will cost the United States Economy and cost the GOP seats in the house during 2014.

And if the GOP decides to set our Bond Rating at a Triple B by defaulting on our National Debt... One of the great Ironies of our lifetime is the fact that one of the few things standing will be the LAW called the Affordable Care Act or (Obamacare)

Yes, when the uninsured get treatment that raises the cost of healthcare. That isn't exactly news and it isn't theft.

You also don't encourage people to free ride like the GOP does.
That is what stupid government policy does, not the GOP.

It is theft when the same insurance dollars that were suppose to go to providing coverage for those in that insurance pool are now being used to pay for people outside of that insurance pool without the consent of those within that insurance pool.

    That is functionally theft.

And the GOP's plan encourages more of it.

That is what stupid government policy does, not the GOP.
Except the policies that encourage is are the GOP's policy. Therefore it is the GOP.

It's funny watching self proclaimed right leaning posters argue AGAINST a reduction in the the theft of insurance dollars. The same people who argue that taxation is theft because it's redistribution. Functionally, we have the same thing, EXCEPT that the insurance payers often have no control or say in this unlike voters.

Obama had to take a stand. If he had caved then there would be no end to the blackmail.

Taking money against the will of someone and misusing funds you received from someone on their own free will is not at all the same thing.

Fine. Then just destroy the _______ Nation's economy because you don't like the ACA. When Dems get the House back, let's put every gun control on money bills. Let's have a crisis every 6 weeks, which Repub Wall Streeters hate. Please give us another TEAdowngrade as in 2011. Happy now?
