I love the NSA. It's like having a secret fan-base you will never see, but they're there, watching everything you write and it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside knowing that I may be some person's only form of unconstitutional entertainment one night.
EARTH TO EVERYONE: Virtually every public speaker with access to a teleprompter will use one. The ones who don't a truly gifted at public speaking. And the random internet morons who rag on Obama for using one would probably piss themselves if they had to give a SOTU.
Freedom of speech is not freedom from criticism.
My only real beef with Obama's vacation is his Christmases in Hawaii. Just disrupts a lot of people's holidays with their families. Think spending Xmas in DC should be a Presidential tradition for that reason alone.
I suppose when you start with the unsupported belief that all conservatives and Republicans agree with Bush on everything it would seem like Bush's opinion would hold some sway.
In the end the OP is no more sensible than a conservative posting the same article with the question "Does this mean an end for a call to try Bush as a War Criminal?"
Ronald Reagan used a teleprompter.
The last President who didn't regularly use a teleprompter was... wait for it... Richard Nixon. Is that a President to which you want to draw a favorable comparison? Nixon used to look down at his typed text, then back up at the camera, down, up, down, up, and in so doing make him look even shiftier than he already was.
