I wasn't being confrontational. You made a statement that made me question wether you knew the spending bill was going to conference committee and I was willing to help you but at the same time give you the benefit of the doubt. Sorry you felt the need to be defensive.

I can disagree actually. Regardless though the Republicans certainly have a long and successful history. I think the more likely reality is that Dems are sensitive to what Cons say and vice versa. So both would be likely to point at the opposing party as "going there" more often. It really doesn't matter though since I would not condone it from either side. Getting bogged down in a "but he started it" or "he's meaner" finger pointing extravaganza is meaningless.

Both sides do it. It's called "politics". However, Dems do it better, longer, and more successfully than Repubs tend to do it. Generally, this is because of a party catering to the lowest common denominator. It's pretty easy to tell a bunch of pissed-off skirts whose emotions are larger than their brains that "Republicans hate women" because of some douche legitimizing rape in some oddball way, or convincing women to take personal responsibility for themselves as opposed to adopting a government to subsidize their vaginas.

It's not just women. Way too many people are prone to letting government replace their eyes, ears, and brains. Responsibility, accountability, and culpability are swear words in today's America.

republicans don't help their image with women promoting bills that force women seeking a abortion to undergo a ultrasound, which also contradicts the Conservative believe in limited government.

and reason democrats are able to do it better, longer, and more successfully than Repubs because the have the undivided help from the media its like they are the communication branch of the democrat party they help craft and put forth any false narrative that the democrats want them too and we have people like opendebate just eat the spin up like it is fact
Will we see this story about that Dem wishing pain suffering and death of children on the 6 o'clock news? hell no. would we see it if it was a republican? hell yes

Republicans want limited government! They want to tell you who you can marry, that a woman has no choice, basically anything that goes on in your home they want a say in it. Bunch of dictators.

I don't think mainstream media would do either one. That's why you have op-ed stations like Fox News and MSNBC. They handle all the news not fit to print.

and your a racist for saying voter ID laws are voter suppression why do you assume that Blacks are to ignorant or feeble to get an ID and the same with women are they not able to take care of them selves and have to rely so much on daddy government to do it for them you most hold minorities and women and low esteem to accuse them of that

You are a fool if you think voter ID laws are to stop ineligible voters. They are limiting polling places and cutting early voting too, all aimed on reducing minority turnout by causing long lines and frustrated voters. Wake up for a change.

this is not an abortion thread what you call women's rights some call rights for the unborn your rights are not allowed to infringe on the rights of other and the right to life trumps the right of choice
it all boils down to when is a baby a human that is a philosophical argument with no clear answer so it is not a war on women it is a war on philosophical differences
