Like I said many times.

If US follow UK, and French puppies to an attack on Syria without an international mandate, it will give a free will of shooting not only to Russia but to everyone.

When it comes to this Syrian kerfuffle you will see Russia back up. Russia will not be starting WWII to help Assad, wait and see. If you want to know more about Russia's obsolete military, do a little research, I won't be doing it for you or anyone else.

I never said russia was going to start WWIII to help assad.

I DID say that obama is the one threatening to attack a sovereign nation. This is no secret. He admits that himself.

I have done a bit of research on russian technology..and it wasn't just this week...but whatever..I'll defer to your superior knowledge of russian technology, world affairs and military strategy.

Yes, but I was just thinking that the hypersonic experiments that have been going on may indeed to a new approach to bunkerbusting. So far they've concentrated mostly on mass I believe, but a hypersonic missile launched from airspace outside Iran may be close enough where something going Mach 5 may reach, and could likely blast right through enemy air defenses like they weren't even there and punch a hole through the concrete.

Russian are smart enough.
If west attack Syria without UN mandate, this is going to be their winning key.
They will not start WW3 by attacking west forces to defend Syria.
They will just use Syria.
They will use as an excuse to attack another country and no one will have the morale to judge them and west will close an eye as they did many times with Russians.

What are WE going to do IF Russia starts slinging conventionally armed missiles at Saudi Arabia or anywhere else in the region? Or giving the Syrian government those weapons? Or giving them to anyone else. Launch nuclear missiles at Russia? Get into a conventional war directly with Russia? Or piles weapons over to the other sides, turning the entire M.E., North Africa and Western Asia into an all out war zone...

I really hope so.

I dislike most of US's foreign military actions but honestly I really scare more the Russian ones.

I mean, if the attack in Syria will be without an international mandate but just because Obama want so, it will give a free will shooting to Russians.
If will not be Russians, will be someone else. And no on can judge them. They will have the morale "clean".
If USA act by ignoring international rules (or even basic war rules), think about what can do the rest of countries or even Russia who doesn't think with head most of time.
Russia and the ME are too hasty. They will take stupid actions if they see a place of free fight, no matter what it cost.

Of course Russia doesn't have the balls to attack the USA first. But they will attack another country they have in target if there is going to be no more rules. Why?? Because they have the best chance to do what they want and no one can blame them.
After that, things will be rolling itself.

A mini proxy war in the M.E. would be ideal for a mutual arms race profiting both military industrial complex profits and justifying higher military budgets. Oil price increases would likely pay for it for Russia given their growing oil and gas development.

I've thought that was a distinct possibility for years now. So many Democrap presidents have gotten us into another war through their absolute ineptitude in dealing with foreign policy it nearly seems like its par for the course.
This whole supposed 'war on terror' thing has been mishandled from the git go.
I'm just glad my kid won't be sent to needlessly die over there.
