I frequent shops that cater to primarily black customers on a regular basis to shop for my boys. I get the "what the **** are you doing here" look all the time. I just go about my business and leave. Never once had anyone refuse to take my money.

My exwife and I went to a cafe on the gay end of Bourbon srteet and couldnt get served.

...but allowing people to be purposely disruptive isn't good for business either.
It's better to be known as a place that protects and values its' customers and puts up with no nonsense, than a disorderly, unsafe place where anything goes.

I think that getting the cops involved tends to prevent retaliation and discourages further bad behavior..once the word gets out that they aren't kidding, a better clientele will be attracted and the "bad" guys won't want to cause trouble because they know it won't end well for them.


An aside..I was working in Co. recently and went in a bar and noticed behind the bar a coathook with a pistol hanging on it. The sign above the coathook said
We don't call 911

By around 2:00 a.m. wednesday morning the place is clean, been washed down and deodorized...Remember all the trash and puke and piss etc...is from drunk tourists wrecking the place. We don't act like that ourselves.

Watch as the cops and street sweepers clear the street after MG day.

This one shows the water trucks and sweepers briefly. I assure you the place is cleaned up. Sorry for my poor examples. I thought I knew where a better video was. Street sweepers and water trucks aren't really the featured vehicles to shoot videos of obviously.
