Yeah. I forgot. History starts yesterday for tea partiers. What party did Sarkozy lead and how long was you president? Come on, you can google it.

Zee whunders ov Socee-alismus. We har note arroghante... we har Francais.

A colleague from the US runs a business in Paris and says the French cost twice and you get half of what you'd get in the US for it.
That's a summary of Socialism in general.

I'm sorry if you find this petty, I find it admirable. This country is beautiful for a reason. The people who live in it do all they can to keep it that way. Believe it or not, that was one of the reasons some people voted for the ban. They didn't really understand that it would have been next to impossible in most places to build those minarets anyway.
I don't find restrictions on building petty in general actually. But banning the building of minarets anywhere and justifying it with arguments about scenery (as if minarets were a major danger to the beauty of Switzerland), that I do find petty. And I imagine it may also be quite insulting to many muslims.

But anyway, it seems as though we have the same opinion about that ban.

Oh yeah I forgot. Their center-left president of 5 years completely broke up the unions, rewrote their labor laws, defunded their welfare state, and cut their taxes in half...... Oh wait.

I just love how you seem to want to claim that France is some sort of left wing wet dream, then turn around and try to pretend that its some sort of Tea Party hell hole when I point out that they are in a far more ****ty position then we are.
