We were telling you this months ago, this was a CIA op, the CIA held terrorist suspects, the terrorists attacked for the holding and the presense of CIA ops, the WH tried to cover the CIA op.....and all the while you kept dening the CIA op side of it.

I suppose Glenn Beck may be right. The story CNN reported shows there was an operation in Benghazi and that the CIA is making sure to keep it classified, but honestly, I don't see how it matters. This is the CIA, we literally expect them to do this sort of thing. We don't need to know about this now, but it'll be nice to learn exactly what was going on in a few decades.

On a side note, I don't think you can call this another Iran-Contra. They weren't buying weapons for anybody, and they weren't raising money for any program. If the above theory is correct, then they were just moving weapons from one place to another.

Leaving aside the potential and real problems when the Government gets into the gunrunning business (Benghazi & Fast and Furious), the weapons were initially appropriated by Congress for Libya and the Administration apparently did one of their end-runs around Congress to get them to Syria ... perhaps with the assistance of a 3rd Country.
You may think it's a so-what but it still should make you wonder why they're going to so much trouble to keep a lid on it.

it took the conservatives pushing the Benghazi conspiracy theory long enough to finally notice the involvement of the CIA and to subsequently include them as being involved in their conspiracy theory's.

That's a good point. I'd venture that its because its the CIA and its their nature plus there would be tons of political mud slinging if it was stated that the CIA was running an op in the same area we lost 4 Americans. It just sounds bad to have that happen.

I'm just wondering, how many hearings has the Senate held on this? Or on the IRS scandal? I know they had a hearing the other day on energy drinks.

First it supposedly was a "scandal" because Rice repeated what the CIA wanted repeated to give cover to this CIA operation.....that even prominent GOP members wanted (like McCain) to arm the rebels with arms that we wanted to take away from/not allow Libyan terrorists to get....but now it is a scandal....how?

It's NO EXCUSE to gin up some bull sh** narrative about a video and its NO EXCUSE to leave those people so wide open to attacks.

Especially after there was a 12' hole blown in their compound wall 2 months before the attack.

Its NO EXCUSE for the coninued lies and stonewalling. Its NO EXCUSE for Hillary to sit in front of a Congressional comittee and lie under Oath.

Its NO EXCUSE for the parents of those murdered to be lied to directly by the Sec of State.

Its NO EXCUSE for the people who were responsible for ths attack to be running around free in their own Country. Especially when a CNN repoeter can track one down for a interview.

Now our State Dept is closing embassies in North Africa and other " sensitive" parts of the world.

Really ?? 4 Americans had to die so Obama's administration could RE-LEARN basic defense tactics in the face of a probable terrorist attack ?

Push this on the CIA all you wan't, it was our Embassy that was attacked and over run, and our Ambassador that was killed and we hav'nt gotten one bit of the truth from the Obama administration who just called this " phoney".

Yeah, I wish the Senate would investigate Issa's contacts with GOP operative George Russell in putting out a false report on the IRS issue. And I wish the Senate would investigate criminal charges against Bush disinformation campaign on Iraq.

But alas, Democrats just aren't as overtly blood thirsty as the GOP. Too bad.

I see you still have not come to fully incorporate the story you posted into your own benghazi meme.

You claimed that the congress should have access to CIA employees for debrief. They do. You still have not understood that CIA ops will not be fully disseminated to ALL members of Congress, especially secret, still ongoing ops. The security level on these sorts of things are very high.

Because it's our money that's paying for this. It should not take nearly a year for us to learn what was going on. I mean, do you enjoy helping pay for things and not get to know what the hell you're paying for?

Why not just be open and honest (transparent) about what we were doing? Anyone who opposes us militarily, we kill. Simple, really. Anyone who opposes us diplomatically, let them. Let them run their mouths. We won't forget it.

At any rate, the so-called most transparent administration in the history of the U.S. had a duty and an obligation to tell Americans (who are the financiers and voters) the whole truth after the Benghazi attacks.
