Kentucky Senate Poll Alison Lundergan Grimes Serious Threat To Mitch McConnell

Yep, skewed polls were just a figment of my imagination.
Funny how you think that was what I was referring to.
Showing again that you still know not of what you speak. :doh

so does the tea party support extend to McConnell or not? would be the way I look at this

Too bad there isn't a scientific study that lays out overall statistics on this. I bet the score would be at least 3 to 1 if not 7 to 1 in favor of lefties being more honest in their arguments. A lot of conservative politics involve "beliefs". When these beliefs don't match up with reality they have no choice but to start stretching things to make the connections. I think this is what inherently leads to dishonest or out of touch arguments that stink.

One would have to be a total idiot to believe that Libbos are more honest in their arguments...lol!

Above is your comment. You quote who did the polling then a series of LMAO emoticons. What's funny about PPP? If you're not laughing because you think the poll is biased in favor of the democrat, then you'll have to explain your point.

Just an observation - using 'Libbos' immediately undermines your point.

This is in no sense in regard to the earlier exchange.
Do you really not realize that?

I have no idea what we're talking about, sorry.
You know full well that I am referring to your misstatement.
It was false.

Your problem was thinking I was speaking to something else you said when I was not.

Follow the exchange and figure it out.

I'm just :lamo at a conservative accusing democrats of bad/biased polling. Does no one but me remember 'skewed polls' from just two years ago? Good grief, there was an entire right wing polling industry devoted to feeding lies to the GOP. I don't know how some of those outfits will ever show their face again in serious company.
:doh
You clearly know not of what you speak.

This was the third time you showed you do not know of what you speak. Especially after I told you it was funny that that was what you thought I referred to. D'oh!
So, to help you out I underlined your absurdity in red so you can't pretend and deflect this time.

Kentucky Senate Poll Shows Alison Lundergan Grimes A Serious Threat To Unpopular Mitch McConnell

I really hope he loses. Everything I see about him is the worst of the worst. He has to be one of the top three most destructive people running this country.

PPP although a Democratic polling firm is a very good polling firm in that their results should be taken seriously. Here are some other polls on Kentucky as listed by RCP:

RealClearPolitics - Election 2014 - Kentucky Senate - McConnell vs. Grimes

There can be no doubt McConnell is in trouble. A couple professional political prognosticators list Kentucky as a toss up, but most list Kentucky as lean Republican. Still lean only means that the race is competitive and that one party or the other has an advantage. But the Democrats war on coal has hurt Grimes much as the delay in the Keystone Pipeline has hurt Pryor in Arkansas and Landrieu in Louisiana.

Still Grimes is in a very good position today, much better than one would expect. It would be a mild upset if she were to win, but not a shocking one. I think McConnell has at least a 60% chance of winning.

Lost in the shuffle of 36 Senate racesw is how EACH of them are tied to the Governors in their state.
Whether there is a tight race for governor, as in Arkansas, or whether there is a popular governor not running as in Kentucky.

There can be no doubt that the success of KYnect/ACA has blunted that line of attack from GOPs.
As for the faux war on coal, let me mention the very real wars on the atmosphere, water supplies and earth's crust by the GOP .

But voters tend to vote their pocket books first. The lost of coal mining jobs or the threat of one losing their job over the war on coal will cost votes especially in Eastern Kentucky. People worry a lot more about their jobs and the economy and their future as to work than about some global warming that may be very far in the distant future.

Sure most everyone will nod their heads when asked about global warming and agree, but if their financial status and security are threaten, they will vote the opposite way. I do think the EPA ruling on coal cemented West Virginia for a Republican pick up and helped McConnell immensely. Even Grimes is campaigning on a save coal platform and blasting the EPA.

Landrieu sponsored a bill for the Keystone Pipeline but Reid won't let it come to a vote, even to save the likes of Landrieu and Pryor. Reid knows it would pass. Even so, I still do not believe the Republicans will gain control of the senate, at least not at this point in time as my 1 July update stated. Both Grimes in KY and Nunn in GA could very well win. But I would give Nunn the better chance. I am surprised not much attention is being paid to Georgia. In fact I would say Nunn is a slight favorite at this time.

Neither do Obama and Reid.
