You don't know that. People stay together for all kinds of reasons and most are none of your business. I suspect a divorce would have been a lot more messy and public, than just staying together...like business partners. It seems to work well for them so who are you to judge?

Without her marriage to Bill (make no mistake...he was a GREAT politician and I'll be the first to say... a pretty damn good president, aside from being a scumbag) she is nothing. She doesnt get elected Senator of New York, doesnt get selected Sec of State, doesnt get elected for ANY pblic office. She is KNOWN because she is Bills wife. Period. SHe has accomplished nothing in life, accomplished nothing in the senate, failed miserably at the State Dept, and yet is being considered as the best Dem candidate for 2016. Why? People dont give a **** about her failures...they care that the dems keep the WH so they will go with the celebrity name...the woman that was married to the former president. And they will run on the 'cause'...like Obama...they will run on 'The First Woman President...its time!" and based on how pathetic their last cause candidate has been as a leader, she will likely win...and fail just as miserably. Maybe more so. Obama when he ran was a relatively likeable figure that could read a teleprompter well. Hillary? Please.....

I'm not judging; I'm wondering why so many political couples remain together when infidelity has been proven. I don't view marriage as a business, but feel free to do so yourself...

I'm not sure how you can think Bill is an asset given his past statement as you have now referenced. If she's qualified, those qualifications should stand on their own...

Your post has absolutely zero relevance to anything I just said or anything that is being discussed. Hillary is being held to her OWN STANDARD. You are the one that keeps trying to compare her to Bill. She should be judged politically based on her OWN actions (very scummy) and her own career (dismal failure at state, lousy senate career).

Other than being a woman, democrat, and most likely candidate, I'd bet MOST Hillary supporters couldnt list a single positive accomplishment she has ever achieved. Just as no one could when they adoringly voted for Cause 1.

A lot of political couples don't stay together and it's no big deal to their careers these days, if they do or don't. Look at Mark Sanford. So why now after 18 years, the Clintons marriage is suddenly a big deal is beyond me...other than the Zimmerman Martin trial is over and there's nothing relevant to talk about.

Divorce And Politics


A couple builds their wealth and raises a family together and if one doesn't hold up their end of the bargain....in come the lawyers to arbitrate the assets and responsibilities. So yeah, I'd say marriage is very much like a business with equal partnership. It also requires a lot of mutual respect and trust.

Hillary got elected for the same reason people are considering Chelsea Clinton for potential office. For no reason other than who she is married to. Wonderful women all Im sure. Pelosi has even made quite a name for herself. Hillary was a worthless senator and a failed Sec of State and is being touted as the best candidate for POTUS. And you dont see how completely inane that is? Demonstrated a complete lack of knowledge and control within the State Dept...hey...maybe she will do better as a president!

Pelosi used family connections to get elected. Didn't you read the quote/link I posted? Both women still had to prove themselves in their own right or they wouldn't have gotten re-elected.

Political schizophrenia at its finest. Unless of course you're my uncle Thomas in SCOTUS, who was selected to be there after graduating from Yale in the midst of affirmative action policies. It also doesn't happen if you're St. Palin, who was selected to be VP after a mediocre run as Alaska's most socialist mayor/governor. However, Clinton?
