I really don't see the issue with drones. They don't do anything that conventional aircraft can't, except cost phenomenally less to operate.
I love the NSA. It's like having a secret fan-base you will never see, but they're there, watching everything you write and it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside knowing that I may be some person's only form of unconstitutional entertainment one night.

Though Senator Paul is ostracisized for his contrarian views, we, as a people need more members of the Congress and Senate to stick their heads up and raise their voices for us and the Constitution, and not just shimmy along being a Yes Man to the system.

Drones in America is a terrible idea. We don't need 20,000 of them flying around in a decade or two, let alone, being operated by the government and police in our skies. Vote 'no' if you're ever given the chance about drones.
Though I am not thrilled by this one I would say they are probably correct as per precedent. There is nothing illegal about putting surveillance equipment like cameras in public places. You do not have any legitimate expectation of privacy outdoors. So flying cameras are not going to really violate that. Perhaps you can tell us why observations that could be made by camera, plane, helicopter, or even the law enforcement person themselves without a warrant would need a warrant because you used a drone?

I don't know, but it's implied that this is a common expression of your beliefs.

But, I for one agree with you.

I think we should not have the right to speak our minds, the government should tell us what to think and believe, that they need to disarm everyone, the government needs open access to our homes at any time, we should have to answer any question even if the answer is incriminating, etc...
perhaps I am unfamiliar with drones, but how do they get through your closed front door when police cannot? This is not the NSA spying through your computer or phone, this is putting a drone in the air like a helicopter, and i am pretty sure they do not fly into your house.

Maybe you can explain to us the difference of a drone flying over head with a camera or a helicopter doing it. Armed drones are a bit different in their purpose, but drones which are merely used for surveillance are pretty much just a more technical version of what we do now. When you do something in a public place outside of a closed and sealed area you have no legitimate expectation of privacy as per the law. What you deluded yourself into thinking about your privacy is a completely different issue.

It's depressing but drones are just flying cameras. Have you been watching the proliferation of cameras?

When your TV watches you, they'll have crossed the line

That's already happening - TV receiver boxes too.

It doesn't. It's a glorified RC plane (or helicopter depending on the model) with a camera in it. Using them to monitor activity on the borders and highways would actually reduce the costs associated with manned aircraft that already take on these mundane roles, and could very possibly yield superior results.

I have reduced expectation to privacy in public due to the inability to control photon scattering. But it's not zero. Just because government has abused power in the past doesn't mean that it's ok to continue along the path.
You know the time is right to take control, we gotta take offense against the status quo

An airplane can't look through your window. A drone can.

So can helicopters and police officers.
